Too Faced Cinnamon Bear Eye, Cheek, and Lip Makeup Collection is a new, limited edition set that launched with the Too Faced Holiday 2020 Collection. I picked this up a few weeks ago when it originally launched as many people were asking me to review it. Sorry for the delayed review but here I am finally getting to it!

Too Faced has been pretty good with Holiday releases lately. Many of their Holiday launches can be repetitive but the last three years or so they have switched things up and released some very cool items not to mention the quality is very good. For a while there, it felt like they were headed downhill but they picked themselves up, dusted themselves off, and made a valid attempt to launch some cool items. They also slowed down a bit as well and we aren’t seeing a release from them every two seconds.

Too Faced Cinnamon Bear Eye, Cheek, and Lip Makeup Collection is a value set that includes an eye and face palette plus a full-size Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick as well as a very cute makeup bag. The inspiration for the color story is cinnamon gummy hears and the palette is supposed to smell like cinnamon. Cringe I know! Who wants to put cinnamon anything on their face and eyes? The novelty of a cinnamon scented palette sounds amazing but in reality there’s a certain cringe factor to that. But have no fear this smells like absolutely nothing. There is no cinnamon scent at all and I’m not really sure why they are promoting any of it as being cinnamon scented! Even the Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick is a vanilla cake batter-like fragrance! Nothing cinnamon gummy bear to be had here. I found almost all the reviews to be positive on the quality of this set but many people deducted stars because they were disappointed it didn’t smell like cinnamon! I’m in that batch of people feeling a little let down on the smell but this isn’t really new for Too Faced. Many of their scented releases have been disappointing!

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Pink Couture Was a Blind Buy and I Love It

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Pink Couture Perfume is a nice sweet, fruity gourmand that I picked up with my Sephora Holiday Savings Event discount! This was a blind buy for me but as someone who loves Juicy Couture fragrances and adores anything sweet it was an easy pick up!

This is a very youthful, playful scent that’s an odd launch for Fall/Holiday as it feels like more of a Spring or Summer scent! None the less, the weather may be cold but at least I smell sweet as candy today!

Lush Roasting Chestnuts On An Open Fire Smells Like a Smoky Version of Porridge Soap

5 stars out of 5

Lush Roasting Chestnuts On An Open Fire Shower Gel is a new, limited edition Christmas 2020 launch. I purchased a small bottle of this online recently and I have to admit I regret it. I should have gotten the bigger bottle. But it’s ok! I can always grab some more before it disappears for good!

According to Lush this is a marzipan Christmas scented shower gel with soothing oat milk and chestnut puree. I’ve read some weird reviews on this but none of them mentioned that this smells like a smokier version of Porridge Soap.

Natasha Denona Triochrome Eyeshadow Palette Arrives But I’m Not Quite Into It

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Natasha Denona Triochrome Eyeshadow Palette ($129) launched at sephora.com today which is great news as you can use HOLIDAYFUN to snag it at 20% Off if you’re Rouge or 15% Off if you’re a VIB but I gotta admit I’m not even slightly tempted by this one. This contains fifteen shades and four of those shades are multi-chrome finishes. From the photos it looks like these shades will have a color shifting effect. I’m prob the only person alive that really isn’t color shifting eyeshadows! That would be one reason this doesn’t appeal the second is the color story seems all over the place. There’s some pastels, there’s some jewel tones, there’s a few warm shades, it’s just a mix of everything and my brain is feeling confused. Think this actually feels like an early Spring 2020 launch especially considering the Natasha Denona Holiday 2020 Collection is completely separate from this launch!

What do you think of it?

Shades:

  • Scrap (cool dusty army green matte)
  • Andradite (pastel mint matte)
  • Ion (poison green/warm gold/blue metallic)
  • Vert (acid green matte)
  • Naga (vibrant mustard matte)
  • Manganese (pastel lavender matte)
  • Kinetic (purple/pink/muted green metallic)
  • Redox (dusty lilac matte)
  • Tungsten (toasted mauve matte)
  • Vertex (cool ivory matte)
  • Plutonium (burnt mandarine matte)
  • Color Flip (fuchsia/nude/dusty green metallic)
  • Garmon (peachy taupe matte)
  • Diatonic (vibrant light coral matte)

Natasha Denona Triochrome Eyeshadow Palette is available now at Sephora.
