Hard Candy Syrup Kiss Lip Stain Doesn’t Stain But It Does Give Me Zombie Lips

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
2 stars out of 5

Hard Candy Syrup Kiss Lip Stain ($6) is a new lip stain that acts as a creamy lipgloss. You know me! I love a good lip stain! I used to be a fond fan of Morgen Schick’s Schick Stick when that was a thing in a beauty life far in the past. I’ve always just favorite lip and cheek stain especially when I was younger and not quite yet into heavy duty eyeshadow and blush. I also happen to still very much love them for days I just want something quick to slick on my lips for a quick wash of color that will last all day!

Nowadays stains are a lot more common and they come in a range of different formulas and colors (yeah, back in the day pink and mauve red was the only shades you could get). There are a lot of hybrid formulas as well like this Hard Candy Syrup Kiss Lip Stain.

Please, take this review with a grain of salt because I do think the color caused performance issues for me. Right now, I’ve given it two out of five stars but that rating may change if I decide to try another shade and have better results.

Here’s the Face Mask I’m Feeling Safe in Lately And It Won’t Fog Up Your Glasses

I purchased this item.

Please note its come to my attention from a reader the following masks are no longer FDA approved. The company name is called Fujian Pageone Garment and info on the masks can be found at:
https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19-emergency-use-authorizations-medical-devices/personal-protective-equipment-euas

‘Ello ‘ello! I hope you’re well today! It’s almost Friday yay! That doesn’t mean much nowadays but it does mean a bit of relaxation from work right? And I can sure use it because it’s been a bit of a busy week over here!

I was talking to a very lovely reader and new friend on Instagram a few days ago and she’s a teacher here in New York and has to go back to school in the next month. I sure hope she’ll be ok and safe! It has to be hard being a teacher right now I’m sure. If it’s your job please know I’ve always had the utmost respect for what you do but right now? You have double my respect because it has to be hard teaching kids from home and now, when things are so very scary, having to go back to work and tell kids they need to stay away from each other? You have a big task ahead of you! But I believe in you and know you’ll get it done because that’s what teachers do they get things done!

If you teach or you’re essential I thought I’d share one of the face masks I’m feeling safe in lately. I typically use washable face masks because they’re better for the environment not to mention they are just easier to keep clean and sterile. But if I’m doing something major like going to a doctor’s appointment or going to an area I know they’ll be a lot of people around I feel a bit safer in these masks.

My Natasha Denona Love Glow Cheek Palette Review is Late But Just In Time for the Dog Days of Summer

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
4 stars out of 5

I know, I know the Natasha Denona Love Glow Cheek Palette ($55) launched months ago and I’m just getting a review up now. Do you hate me? Please don’t! I promise it was sort of worth the wait depending on how you look at it. We’re starting to get into those really long, hot days of Summer and I always associate those days with glowing cheeks! This palette may have released for the Spring but it feels all Summer!

I happen to be a die hard fan and user of the original Natasha Denona Bloom Blush & Glow Palette and I was really hoping they’d introduce more shades in the palette! Let’s say a golden pink version was on my list for sure! They did not. The Bloom Blush & Glow Palette released March 2019 and three months later in May they launched the Natasha Denona Tan Bronze & Glow Palette. Damn…..! I was grumbling about the bronze for sure because I don’t bronzer! I was so hoping for another blush and highlighter palette but no dice!

But just as Valentine’s Day was about to arrive Natasha surprised us with the Love Glow Cheek Palette and all was right with my beauty world again! Here was the pink palette I was hoping for! Not quite golden pink but hey, there was pink!

But maybe not…
