Jump for it!
A few months ago I introduced you to Missha’s US portal site which sells many wonderful beauty finds from Missha right within the US. When I first started blogging Asian makeup many, many moons ago much of it was never available online. As my blog evolved many brands suddenly started popping up with US portals, Missha happens to be one such brand. It’s with such joy that I tell you about this as Korean Makeup (and Asian Makeup in general) holds such a special place in my heart and having the ability to share that with you and offer a store that has much of it readily available for you to purchase from is true bliss.
There are two things that set Asian makeup apart from US brands. 1. Quality and 2. Affordability. I don’t think we can honestly say that that these two things are combined easily in the US market. Quality normally comes with a costly price tag in most cases and it’s rare you’re able to enjoy beautiful base and point makeup pieces that are both inexpensive and incredible in regards to quality.
For a limited time, while supplies last, Missha is offering it’s Deluxe Sampler Set free of charge (you pay shipping only). This is a great way to try out some of what Missha offers. In order to get the Missha Deluxe Sampler Set you simply head to www.misshaus.com, register on the site, and add the coupon to your cart (see my directions on the bottom of this post). After that you pay shipping and handling and Missha will send along your free set. Now you can also get the sampler free with free shipping by placing a $40 order or more if you want as well!
The sampler includes all of the following items:
- Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream
- Missha BB Boomer
- Missha M Luminous Color Lip Gloss SPF 10 (Attach it to your cell phone with the small strap!)
- Missha M Perfect Cover Deep Cleansing Oil
- Missha Super Aqua Detoxifying Peeling Gel
Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream is a fav of mine from Missha. I have a full size and generally enjoy this one. It’s a good way to get your feet wet in the BB Cream department as it’s one of the few that adjusts to skin tone very well. It starts out an ugly beige but adjusts very well to my tone. It does whiten skin, repairs wrinkles (not sure if that works or not as I do not have fine lines as of yet on my face), and also offers a high SPF of 42. The natural beige shade, as I mentioned, adjusts quite well for medium skin types. If you’re fair it might possibly work as well and adjust accordingly but you may need to test a bit to see. It has a smooth, creamy texture that blends seamlessly. Like most BB, it does not oxidize quickly so it wears very long, longer than normal foundation would.
To accompany your BB is Missha’s BB Boomer which brightens, moisturizers, preps, and primers prior to applying your BB Cream. I also happen to have a large size of this as well and like it very well. It has a slightly pink iridescent cast so it does offer some highlighting as well.
Missha Perfect BB Deep Cleansing Oil is a rather fab oil cleanser that can easily replace your Shu version for about 75% less in price. It works well at removing everything and anything including waterproof mascara.
This is my first try with the Missha Super Aqaua Detoxifying Peeling Gel. Within the US we depend on exfoliating scrubs much of the time to do away with dead skin cells, the idea of a peeling gel hasn’t really reached our shores as of yet. I normally use a few different peeling gels but as I said this is my first try with Missha’s version. Basically it’s an after treatment when your skin is dry and clean. You apply a generous amount and slowly rub it in. As you rub it begins to peel off your face as it peels it removes dead skin cell and impurities. It’s quite nice, doesn’t dry my skin out, and makes my skin look brighter and happier after use.
And finally you’ll get a mini key charm of Missha’s new Color Lipgloss. The sample is too tiny to tell if I love it or not but so far the shade is lovely and shimmery! Must get a full size of this to test fully but I love having something on my key ring or around my cell phone for quickie touch ups.
Overall, the kit is a great way to introduce yourself to Asian base products and skincare plus hey it’s free, can’t beat that price.
Visit www.misshaus.com to view some of their offerings. You’ll be happy you did as they have a slew of very inexpensive, gorgeous skincare and cosmetics.
DIRECTIONS:
Ok, before I leave you just wanted to give you some brief directions for using the coupon to get the sampler free. First off you should head to the main portal at www.misshaus.com and register first. After this go to and all the way to the bottom click add coupon. Once you’ve done this it will probably set you to a blank page, don’t panic. Go to your Missha account and inside there will be two coupons, one for the free sampler and one for 20% off your first order. I haven’t tried yet but you might be able to use both coupons if you order that way you can get free shipping ($40 or more for this), 20% Off, and your free sampler. Again, I haven’t tried to combine the coupons but I’m thinking you might be able to. Just for the sampler it’s $8.99 for shipping via ground postal. I think it’s worthy of the $9 buck as the samples are quite a nice size however if you have some spare cash I’d cruise their site and see if you can gather up $40 bucks of stuff and get the free shipping and sampler plus if it’s possible the 20% Off, just a suggestion.
