Benefit World Famous Neutrals Most Glamorous Nudes Ever Review & Swatches

Benefit World Famous Neutrals Most Glamorous Nudes Ever is one of three new $30 makeup palettes introduced by Benefit for Spring 2013.

These essential kits contain six different eyeshadows in two different formulas for creating nude, natural looks for Spring. I mentioned in a prior post that this palette could be one of my favorites of Spring 2013 and I still stand by that. I’m just loving the shades so MUCH!

This tiny palette is shaped like a little library book with a vintage-y print on the cover. It kinda reminds me of an old school Harlequin Romance Novel. The try that holds the powder shadows easily removes so you can reuse the compact to store small treasures well after the makeup is gone.

I like that this palette contains all eyeshadows. As much as I love Benefit’s solution to the all in one face palette which contains shadows, highlighter, blush, etc…I actually really enjoy that this concentrates on eyes only.

You get six total shadows here in two formulas, a powder and a cream.

Shades:
Longwear Powder Shadows:

  • Call My Buff (pale shell)
  • Gilt-y Pleasure (golden sand)
  • Its Complicated (golden peach)
  • Kiss Me, I’m Tipsy (spiced brown)

Creaseless Cream Shadows:

  • Birthday Suit (brushed chrome)
  • My Two Cents (polished copper)

The palette also features step by step instructions for creating a variety of looks to create using these shadows.

One of the biggest draws of the palette for me was the shade It’s Complicated. I can’t recall the name, I believe it’s Juicy Melons, that’s one of my all time favorite glow peach shades from Benefit. This mimics that shade but in a lighter, sheerer format. I actually took sometime out to create a look using it and only it on my eyes since I found it such a unique and pretty shade.

The powder eyeshadows have a thinner yet velvety texture. One thing Benefit continues to do that I disagree with is put a tad too much frost into their shadow finishes. This blends out well enough but sometimes when I’m rushing application I end up with a tad too much frost. Outside of the frost factor the shades all have an easy to use formula that blends easily. All the shades work so lovingly together without creating a muddy mess, totally a positive factor to this palette.

I’ve never been a huge fan of Creaseless Cream Shadows as these have a thin slightly greasy texture that likes to slip and slide around my eyes but they make an excellent base for the powders and create more vibrancy and pop when applied under them.

Overall, Benefit World Famous Neutrals Most Glamorous Nudes Ever is absolutely one of my fav palettes from Spring 2013. The colors all work amazingly well together and it’s such an easy all in one solution for creating pretty, work ready natural eye looks!

Really love this palette.

I can’t really use this palette (nowhere to store it yet and I already have Birthday Suit) but I wish they would make a single of It’s Complicated. So pretty!

This pallette looks so pretty but I feel like I have dupes of all the colors already. But your lips look gorgeous! What are you using in these pics?

It’s Complicated reminds me very much of Urban Decay X actually, for those who don’t want to wait!

I don’t need this but I can see where it will be a big seller. The colors are really gorgeous. Glad it’s complicated will be part of the line up.
