Brand New Skincare Picks That Just Arrived at Sephora

There are quite a few brand new skincare picks that just arrived at Sephora.com that I have my eye on. Like I need more skincare right? I made a New Year’s Resolution that I would finish up all the skincare I currently have in rotation before buying or trying anything new.

The resolution lasted for exactly 3 days. 3 freaking days! By January 3rd I was already buying new moisturizer.

Shame. Shame. Shame.

Here’s what’s new in the skincare world.

Look at Boscia channeling Mario Badescu Drying Lotion with this new Charcoal Spot Corrector ($28). Target blemishes with this activated charcoal formula that soothes irritated as it treats that large pimple on your forehead you’ve been trying to hide with a band-aid this week (we’ve all been there).

LOccitane has not one but two new moisturizers to try! First up, there’s Aqua Reotier Ultra Thirst-Quenching Cream Moisturizer ($29) is a hydrating facial cream that contains hyaluronic acid that draws moisture to your skin and keeps it locked in. There’s also LOccitane Aqua Reotier Ultra Thirst-Quenching Gel Moisturizer which contains the same great ingredients but comes in a quick to absorb gel texture that makes it ideal for daily use!

Clinique’s Pep-Start Skin is not new by any means but this $15 Gift Set is and allows you to try a few deluxe sizes of the most popular Pep-Start products! You get:

  • 1 oz Pep-Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser
  • 0.5 oz Pep-Start Hydrorush Moisturizer SPF 20
  • 0.24 oz Pep-Start Eye Cream

Korres used to be top of my hit list but I’m a little slow on the uptick with their latest launches lately but their new Pomegranate AHA & Enzymes Resurfacing Mask ($34) did capture my eye. This new glycolic acid mask address dullness and uneven skincare texture as well as dryness with a power house formula that backs 27.5% AHAs/BHAs which smooth, exfoliate, and soften skin.

Farmacy has a new Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser ($28) which you’ll know I’ll jump on considering my success with their line of skincare. This formula sounds lovely with honey and hyaluronic acid that was made with sensitive users in mind to gently remove oil, dirt, and makeup without drying out skin.

Got any new skincare on your wish list?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I got thwarted on an Ordinary Vitamin c (do you think I can remember which one now? Lol, no) by hemming and hawing and it sold out at Sephora.

So I’m rebuying the Chanel sensitive moisturizer, 10 or whatever it is, and some Lizzy Arden capsules that I had in a gift once. I loved them.

But yeah, then I think I have to go NO BUY for a while.

aw don’t worry! I’m sure it’ll restock! I really NEED to be on a skincare no buy!

I would love to try the Locctaine products, they don’t do a great deal of advertising and promotion but good skincare. I purchasedan some items from the Divine line that are very rich and hydrating. They gave me a mini facial while I was there. I can always count on you to remind me to bing watch some shows . So “shame” and I will parade you through the streets with no moisturizer! BTW was The Deuce renewed?

    • Isabella Muse

they really do have good skincare and the divine line is def lovely! ;-D Ha! YES it’ll be back! Even with Franco’s current scandal they did indeed sign him up for an S2 and last I heard they were filming it. ;-D

Cool. The Cosrx 2 in 1 poreless power liquid arrived today, so I had to start all over with wash, s/c, m/u between jobs. Beyond psych! I’m trying to cut back on s/c but not succeeding well, either. Thanks so much for that review. Otherwise, would have been at the end of the restocking line. Yay you! Yay Amazon Cosrx dept!

awesome! Let me know it works out for you! No go for me. My skin is too dry for it at the moment, maybe in the Summer when I’m a bit more oily! my pleasure <3!

Muse, I am the same way! I have so many masks to use and yet I keep buying more (mostly just the ones you approve of though ;-)). I’ve been using the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion and love it! The smell is strong but it works well for me. As for moisturizers I’m usually good about not buying anything new until I’m at least 75% done with my current one. Luckily for stuff like that I can pass down to my boyfriend because he’ll just use whatever is on the shelf.

omg me too it’s such a bad habit! LOL thanks I’m flattered ;-D I keep it around too if I get a pimple I immediately use it on it and it dries it up fast! god I wish I was. I keep buying new moisturizers and it’s absurd after a while. I wish I could say the same but my BF is one of those guys that thinks soap is the best way to clean your fast lol!
