Colourpop Dupes Rare Beauty with New Blush and Introduces Lip Oils

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Heads up Colourpop fan girls and guys about a week ago the brand dropped some new blushes and lip oils on us and this week they are making an appearance at ulta.com! ColourPop Liquid Blush is probably the more interesting of the two products.

This new Rare Beauty are Beauty dupe is available in eight shades and is formulated with ingredients like Hyaluronic and Polyglutamic acids to draw moisture to the skin and help to retain it. And even Niacinamide for smoother, brighter skin! I dunno if I need any of this in my blush but the real tea is the fact these looks so much like the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush everyone adores! It promises a second-skin finish with up to eight hours of wear! I didn’t personally like the E.L.F. Camo Blushes as I thought they were too garish and bold! It felt like I was applying literal paint on my face. The Colourpop Liquid Blushes seem to be available in way more flattering shades. I never understood why E.L.F. was like, “Let’s not give them a pretty coral! Why don’t we just give them an insane orange!” Seriously, the shades in the Camo launch were just way too crazy! I like Colourpop went with some nice nudes, roses, and berries. They seem softer and prettier. That being said, what happened to the days Colourpop would launch a product in 100+ shades. I mean, that’s an exaggeration but who remembers when they went all out with a launch? They play things really safe lately with their single product launches! The blushes are $10 each and 0.35 oz versus E.L.F. Camo Blush at $7 for 0.13 oz. For $3 extra bucks you get a good deal more of product which is sweet!

And for the lip oil fan girls we have the new ColourPop So Juicy Plumping Glossy Lip Oil! Well, it’s a little late to the game but I’ll take it! This new formula is also, available in eight shades and features a peppermint cookie flavor and a formula that contains ceramides, peptides, strawberry, and raspberry oils as to smooth, plump, and hydrate lips. Colourpop promises a sheer hint of color as well as a plumping effect due to ginger. These are also, marked at $10 each!

Which are you most interested in trying? I’ll have a review for them up soon!

What The World Needs Now Is a Dual Ended Jelly Makeup Blender

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Revlon joins the world of silicone makeup blending sponges with this new Dual Ended Jelly Makeup Blender & Silicone Makeup Applicator! Remember when everyone was made over silicone sponges? They always reminded me of breast implants! I’ve actually tried them before and I think in theory they’re a creative way to apply makeup but in reality they don’t actually work. I find they smear makeup around my face in a weird patchy way. I never understood what I was doing wrong during application. Was it me? Was it the sponge? I choose to believe it was the sponge.

Well, Revlon has entered the game but with a little bit of a different tune. They aren’t technically creating a sponge but more of a sponge with a handle. Dual Ended Jelly Makeup Blender & Silicone Makeup Applicator has two slanted silicone sponges with a handle. The soft jelly-like texture of the sponges can be used with cream concealers, foundations, or even cream and liquid blushes. One side has a larger slanted sponge and the other a more smaller, precise sponge. The silicone is supposed to act like your fingertips for soft and easy blending. It’s also super easy to clean and hygienic.

I’m curious enough to give it a try! It’s on sale right now at target.com or you can snag it at Ulta. What do you think of the Revlon Jelly Makeup Blender? Worth a splurge?
