Dear Tarte, I’m Giving You a Second Chance with this Concealer
Ok, Tarte, impress me. Tarte dropped a new creamy version of their Creaseless Concealer and I’m ready to try it! I’m not a big fan of their original Creaseless Concealer but Creaseless Creamy Concealer sounds the perfect pick for dry skin girlies like myself. According to them this new formulation contains over 60% skincare ingredients and provides full coverage with a natural finish. Remember, Tarte Shape Tape Ultra Creamy Concealer was lovely when it launched but as always with the case of hydrating concealers it lacked the pigment and full coverage of the original. Creaseless Concealer was a drier formula (much drier than Shape Tape) which is why I didn’t love it but I can’t deny it was pigmented! I do wonder if this new creamy formula will suffer the same issue I had with Shape Tape Ultra Creamy. But I’m willing to try…! For science! And the blog! And all of you!
So, what’s all this skincare business about! Well, it’s formulated with a few good for you ingredients like caffeine that helps depuff, niacinamide to brighten, and bakuchiol which is a plant-based retinol. It promises up to 24 hours of hydration, 12 hours of wear with waterproof coverage that doesn’t crease. Tarte also, dropped a Creaseless Corrector is this formula which is available in five shades to correct which is loaded with the same ingredients.
And earlier this month, Tarte Creaseless Undereye Loose Setting Powder made its way into the beauty world. This is actually one I really want to try as I’m always game to check out a new brightening under eye powder! This one comes with a point puff for easy application of the powder or to aid with baking. It also, has a net sifter making application mess-free. It promises to set concealer for up to 16 hours without creasing. I actually really like Tarte Shape Tape Corrector so I imagine this formula will be just as nice!
I’m not quite ready to take the plunge on these as I don’t really need a new powder, concealer, nor corrector but set me up with a good sale and I can see myself diving in to check all three out. Maybe Tarte will surprise me with a new concealer love (I’m already a Shape Tape Concealer girl!).
