DHC Mild Touch Cleansing Oil Review
I’m thinking we should celebrate. You know, balloons, chips, dips, loud music, the whole deal. Why are we celebrating? Because the Gods above have granted us the ability to purchase DHC Mild Touch Cleansing Oil. I swear I heard angels sing when I noticed that DHC was actually carrying a product that hit Japan several months ago.
If you’re a DHC lover and a little or alot knowledgeable about DHC US versus DHC Asia, you’ve probably long since realized we get the boring packaging. DHC such a great brand but the packaging is so damn generic. Japan gets alot of great packaging plus some really cool collections such as the DHC Fruit Collection and the DHC Rose Collection.
This a break through people!
PINK DHC packaging….this is news. Call the papers, alert the President!
Ok but seriously. This really is kinda cool because I’m a package junkie and I really like good looking packaging. It’s pretty important to me in the scheme of my beauty purchases. DHC Mild Touch Cleansing Oil is the first of it’s kind to make it’s way to US shores. It’s really a break through for the brand because as I mentioned for the most part the packaging is pretty standard and dare I say boring in some aspects. Needless to say they make incredible products but why is the kawaii packaging reserved for Asia? No fairs!
Anyway.
Now that you heard my ramble about how sweet the packaging is have a little jump to hear about how well DHC Mild Touch Cleansing Oil performs.
Housed in a baby pink bottle which sports a chandelier design DHC Mild Cleansing Oil is pretty, affordable, and great for getting your face super clean. And guess what? No mineral oil in the mix!
Just a recap to define cleansing oil.
Cleansing Oil is indeed oil however Mild Touch seems to be a tad on the thicker side and borders a thin consistency gel, oil none the less but a thicker formula. With a face full of makeup pump two or three times into the palm of your hand. Now get to work massaging it into your dry face (do not WET your face or hands prior to use, dry face, dry hands). Close your eyes and massage gently. Now…wet your hands every so slightly and start massaging again. As the water hits the oil it’ll begin to emulsify and go milky. Now rinse! Done! All your makeup should be completely removed even waterproof mascara! One step cleansing at it’s best.
Of course those who are already part of the cleansing oil club didn’t need those directions but we do have a few readers who aren’t familiar with how oils work.
DHC Mild Touch Cleansing Oil hydrates as well as rinses away makeup. It rinses clean. It does not leave your face oily, it does not leave a greasy film.
One minor rant….
Mild Touch has a weird scent, kinda like glue but it doesn’t much bother me, however, I wouldn’t have minded a floral or fruity scent.
At $14 it’s cheap, it works, and it’s worthy of your cash! Muse Approved for purchase.
You need it.
