4 stars out of 5

It Cosmetics It’s Your Season to Give Love! Grand Collection is a new 7 piece QVC Today’s Special Value (QVC TSV) that’s available for pre-sale and launches live at qvc.com this weekend for a value price of $69.96 or 6 Easy Pays of $11.66 with free shipping.

The set includes four full-size It Cosmetics makeup products as well as two brushes! I thought I’d share some of my thoughts on this set and do some swatches for you. It’ll make a heck of a gift for family or friends that love It Cosmetics since it’s presented in a beautiful box ready to wrap and give.

Take a look!

This is a great value as it works out to around $10 per item and you’re not paying shipping so that’s an extra plus. They do have the set on an auto delivery option as well if you absolutely love these items which means every 90 days they’ll send you Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer SPF50, Hello Cheekbones Contour Palette, Bye Bye Pores Poreless Finish Airbrush Brightening Blush in Love, Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara, and Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Serum. The shades unfortunately don’t change in each shipment and the brushes are lacking in the next shipments (you only get the brushes in the first shipment). You can skip shipments at any time. I don’t personally recommend auto delivery on a set like this even if the value is good because the shades are the same with each shipment. Unless you really LOVE these products and these shades I probably would advise against the auto shipment!

That being said a one time shipment is a great deal!

You get:

  • Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer SPF50 in your choice of shades (1 oz)
  • Bye Bye Pores Poreless Finish Airbrush Brightening Blush in Love
  • Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara
  • Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Serum in Love
  • Heavenly Luxe Buffing Foundation Brush
  • Heavenly Luxe Hello Cheekbones Contour Brush

There are some new shades in this set Love is a new shade that’s available in the Bye Bye Pores Poreless Finish Airbrush Brighening Blush and the Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Serum. And the Heavenly Luxe Hello Cheekbones Contour Brush is brand new.

Ok, so, I gotta admit I’m sort of love with the Hello Cheekbones Contour Palette and the new Heavenly Luxe Hello Cheekbones Contour Brush. I don’t contour but I should considering I have a full face. I’m also not a big highlighter girl! I love luminous blushes and I love my Becca Highlighters but given a choice most days I’m reaching for a nice sparkly or glow-y blush versus a highlighter. I really like It Cosmetics Sunshine In a Compact in a compact and I tend to use it quite often in the Summer! The shade in the Hello Cheekbones Contour Palette reminds me of it a bit. It a bit of an orange brown but when combined with the champagne beige highlighter it gives a nice glowing warmth to my skin!

I know some are you are curious about the Heavenly Luxe Hello Cheekbones Contour Brush and how it works. I’m still learning 🙂 I’ve had the set for over a week and each day I’m closer and closer to mastering application with this thing. It’s sort of nifty that you can sweep the brush into the contour palette and pick up highlighter and bronzer at the same time but actually applying it with the brush is a little trickier as I feel like I’m not quite getting the contour down correctly. It feels like it’s contouring my upper cheekbones rather than the sides of my face. I have to keep working with this! I’ll review it in more detail soon! As with all It Cosmetics brushes this and the other brush the set comes with, the Heavenly Luxe Buffing Foundation Brush, both have really soft bristles that don’t shed and very sturdy handles. The buffing brush is particularly lovely as it works nicely to buff and blend Bye Bye Foundation into skin easily.

Speaking of Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer…! I’ve reviewed this many times in the past so I won’t go into details about it. At this point, I’m sure many of you have tried it as well! It’s a great foundation! Creamy, pigmented, blends easily, and wears well on my drier skin.

I’m a huge fan of Bye Bye Pores Poreless Finish Airbrush Brightening Brush! You can read my raving review here. I’m always happy when they do a new shade. Love is a mauve-y rose shade that should be appealing to those that love a good “purple” blush. I always find this formula a joy to use. It’s pigmented, blends easily, and leaves behind a nice smooth finish that never looks powdery! It melds with skin and creates a really nice natural flush!

I am not a fan of Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Serum as you many know from reading my past review. And I’m particularly not a fan of the pearl-like shade in this set. Love is a pearlescent light pink that might work nicely as a topper but not on its own (I get zombie lips when I wear it by itself). I don’t really love this shade. It’s the only item that didn’t work for me in this set.

One thing that did surprise me was the Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara! I gave Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara a poor review when it first launched as it was very thick and gooey but it looks like It Cosmetics changed the formula! It’s thinner now and it applies much, much better! It gave my lashes very nice length and I didn’t get the gooey, stuck together look that the original gave me!

It Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara

All in all, this is a great deal especially if you’re wanting a nice gift for a friend or family member that loves makeup. The value is incredible that’s for sure.

You can pre-order the It Cosmetics It’s Your Season to Give Love Grand Collection now at qvc.com! If you want to watch the live debut it airs tomorrow on QVC.
