CosRX The AHA BHA PHA LHA 35 Peel Gives The Ordinary Some Competition
CosRX The AHA BHA PHA LHA 35 Peel ($19) is a new AHA BHA LHA exfoliating peel that can be used weekly for ten minutes to smooth, decongest, and exfoliate skin to reveal a more radiant complexion with a formulation of four different acids.
The acids in this formula are:
- AHA to exfoliate and smooth
- BHA to clean and decongest pores and sebum
- PHA aids in maintaining moisture
- LHA reduces irritation
This is a powerful peel with up to 35% multi-acids so be sure to rinse off after 10 minutes. They promise it will “dramatically smooth skin” which has me intrigued. This formula acts to even out skin texture, resurface, refine, smooth, soften, and unclog pores while addressing dullness and uneven texture and roughness. People swear by the Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Exfoliating Peeling Solution which has the same pink-ish shade as the CosRX formula. Perhaps the CosRX one will perform just as well.
I compared the Ordinary formula to the CosRX one below. They aren’t dupes for each other that’s for sure. If anything the CosRX one appears to have a higher acid concentrate compared to the Ordinary’s formula.
