Too Cool for School Egg-Zyme Whipped Foam ($20) is a facial cleanser near and dear to my heart. I should be shouting about how drying this on my skin but it’s surprisingly not and has been a part of my daily AM routine for ages now because I love, love, love how deeply it cleans my skin.

I admit I do have this weird obsession with facial cleanser that produce a crazy amount of lather. I just feel like they are cleansing my skin so much better (even though aren’t! It’s all in my head!). Egg-Zyme Whipped Foam Cleanser produces a ridiculous amount of foam and lather and does a fine job getting my skin squeaky clean in the AM and ready for makeup.

As you may know, Ulta recently started carrying Too Cool for School which brings up their K-Beauty tally way up! I do think at this point they surpassed Sephora in terms of what Korean brands they carry! Not to mention they carry some of the more important and popular ones like CosRX that do not make an appearance at Sephora. Just one more way that Ulta is chiseling down their competition.

This formula was created as a gentle and moisturizing cleanser although it does contain certain cleansing agents and ingredients that some skin types may fine drying. Thankfully enough it doesn’t dry my skin out at all. Not only does it cleanse skin but also promises to remove dead skin cells. My skin does feel quite a bit smoother since I started using it sometime ago.

This is a thick and creamy collagen-like cleanser. If you’re not familiar with collagen washes they have a rather weird slick soft water texture and feel once you work them into a lather. This, as I said above, creates a tons and tons of lather and foam. A little drop goes a long way at cleansing your face. I typically use it in the shower in the morning as I found that I can rinse it away much easier due to the creamy mounds of lather it creates as rinsing at the sink is a bit messy.

I don’t think there’s any outstanding ingredients here that I’d say are beneficial to your skin aside from some minor ones lower on the list that might draw moisture to your skin and keep it sealed in. I wouldn’t call this super hydrating for me but it wasn’t drying either. What I love about it is the fact it cleanses my skin so well. It just gives me a solid deep clean so my face looks brighter and happier after washing with it. It’s almost as if it washes the dullness away and I’m pretty happy with that.

All in all, an excellent facial wash for me that gets a Muse Approval. If you like super lathering facial washes that give your a squeaky clean feel and look this is for you!

    Hey Muse!

This sounds right up my alley!

Ulta has it for $20 but Amazon’s price is $12.99. I’d love to buy it at the cheaper price, but am always concerned with fakes. Have you ever bought one from Amazon?

I have not sorry! I typically buy from F2Plus on ebay! Try there, it might be cheaper! Also does it say fulfilled by amazon!? I always feel a little safer when it says that!

Ulta is starting to look like Nordie’s K beauty section. Great thing. This sounds really good, but I’m married to Cosrx good morning low pH, with Paula Resist on the side, when I wake up drier. Lathery is so good. Might have to try this. I like the AIO in the TCFS egg pore line. If you try this with your bubble maker, the foam will be all the way to your kitchen.

lol right!? def don’t need a bubble maker with this formula!
