I’m ok with the basics when it comes to mascara. No club applicators, no tiny ones, no plastic ones, just a good, old fashion bushy brush works for me.
the Balm Cheater Mascara keeps it simple with their applicator and in turn it produces wonderfully long lashes.
Cheap thrills today with Jordana Lip Out Loud Super Shiny Gloss! I’ve reviewed them before but I must say they still remain one of the nicest budget glosses at the drugstore.
Too Faced Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo is a new highlighting powder inspired by the original Candlelight Powder to give cheeks and face a Summer-y glow.
If you already own the original, you’ll still want to pick up this new version since the finish and shade is quite different.
Titanic has absolutely drained me. I can’t watch it again, I can’t see it again, I’m tired of hearing about, I may tear out my hair if I have to see another poster about it.
No more Titanic.
k, thanks.
It was a fab movie but the madness needs to stop at some point, now is a good a time as any right?
The new Too Faced Better Than False Lashes Nylon Lash Extension System has officially launched at Sephora and Sephora.com this week.
This is a new three step lash extension from Too Faced for Summer 2012 that includes an activating mascara base and top coat and Flexistretch nylon lash fibers.
The activating mascara base and top coat are designed to melt and seal the nylon fibers of the top coat into longer more dramatic lashes giving the look of a false set of lashes without the mess of the application.
The set comes with both the Activating Mascara Base & Top Coat and Flexistrech Nylon Lash Fibers. Both are $35.
This set remains exclusive to Sephora and Sephora.com until Fall 2012.
Are you curious about it?
I have a tube but haven’t tried it yet. Review is upcoming soon though!
Available shortly from Sephora and Sephora.com for $15.
In other news…
Now it’s time to say goodbye. Amy and Rory exit the Tardis shortly and a new companion has been announced during a press conference this morning. The Moff says that Amy and Rory will once again meet the Weeping Angels but someone won’t come out of it alive.
If they kill the boy who waited, I’ll be pissed.
Jenna-Louise Coleman is the Doctor’s newest companion. We can expect to see 14 new episodes over the course of the next two years with new and old foes.
I’m still processing all this info so I don’t have exact thoughts about the new companion as of yet. I will say I’m disappointed it’s another young girl, please, let’s leave the romance bits out of Who as I have a funny feeling that’s where this is headed and if so I really don’t want to re-live Billie Piper. Not that I didn’t love Billie and Ten’s incredible chemistry, just, I grew up on Who, and it was about the sci-fi and not the mushy.
The Sephora + Pantone Collection has launched at Sephora.com and rumor has it that it’ll hit store on the 27th, that’s unconfirmed as it could already be in you store.

I reviewed Kate’s new stick concealer for you last week if you recall. This week, I’ve been getting a whole hell of a lot more sleep in preparation for seeing Van Halen this weekend, of course, this depends on whether or not they actually stay together before the weekend hits, I’m expecting to open a newspaper and read somewhere that Roth killed another band member or vice versa, oh the drama, the drama, the drama, the drama whenever they go on tour…
Anyway, since I’m working on 16 hours of sleep in two days, go freaking me, that’s more sleep than I get in a five day period, I can go ahead and go a little lighter with the concealer, that’s where KATE Covering Concealer for Under Eyes comes into place.
Napoleon Perdis Cream de La Cream Eyeshadow you have my heart! These new cream shadows have a gleaming metallic finish and offer a lovely little gloss of color for Summer (even though they are a Spring Collection release).
I’ll have a review up shortly but here are some swatches to whet your appetite.
But I’m fan girlish enough to say that the most exciting part about heading to the movies to check it out is to see the trailer for the final installment of the Twilight trilogy.
If you’ll allow me to steal 14 seconds of your life away, here it is:
Enjoy Twi-harders!
For the beauty budget girls I have a little Milani Total Lash Cover Mascara, physics and rocket science degrees may be required for this one!
This collection will be created by François Nars under a license with The Andy Warhol Foundation.
According to WWD, “it is intended to evoke the cool, image-rich, character-laden world of Warhol”.
The collection will launch in October.
Official word comes from NARS today confirming that the collection will indeed be created but no word on colors so I’ll update you as news becomes available.
Andy Warhol never particularly struck a chord in me so I’m unsure how I feel about this collection. I’ll have to see it before I make my final decision.
