Etude House I’m Blooming Clear Cleansing Water Review
I’m unsure how many of you are cleansing water fans but Etude House I’m Blooming Clear Cleansing Water is a new one you want wish to explore.
I’m kinda on the fence about cleansing waters myself. I absolutely adore Mandom Cleansing Water but I honestly, can’t say that I use it as much as I thought I would. I think of Cleansing Water as an easier way to QUICKLY remove my makeup but not necessarily an end all way to do so. I prefer cleansing oil and a good foaming cleanser over water to be honest.
Let’s take a look at the I’m Blooming Clear Cleansing Water and see how it stands up.
I must admit so far the Etude House I’m Blooming Collection has proved disappointing for me. I thought perhaps the product would have a delicate floral scent of some sort but they are actually fragrance-free. Sad sigh.
Etude House I’m Blooming Clear Cleansing Water is supposedly 100% organic and natural containing a plant origin of surfactant.
This is a no wash cleansing solution so simply wet a cotton pad with the product and swipe across face and eyes to remove makeup. It does fairly ok removing face makeup but a little tugging is involved to fully remove eye makeup. It does rather poorly on waterproof mascara and heavier eyeshadow and eye makeup but when you’re in a hurry and just want to get to bed this is fairly good at removing makeup quickly enough! The best method for removing eyeshadow is to press a saturated cotton pad to your eye for a few minutes and wipe away. I do find this method a little irritating as there was some stinging I experienced with this cleansing water.
It doesn’t leave my face sticky and provides a dewy to the touch finish after use so skin is left soft not tight or dry after use.
Overall, I consider cleansing waters more of the lazy girl’s guide to quicker makeup removal. They have a place in my stash for the days I just can’t be bothered to go through a long regime of removing my makeup and just want to get to bed. Etude House I’m Blooming Clear Cleansing Water does the job and does it quickly however, eye stinging is a slight deal breaker for me.
If you’re looking for quick makeup removal this or any number of other cleansing waters are your bestest friend.
