I tend to go with darker, browner hues of red, brick reds, and maroons since I look like an utter clown sporting anything that’s a truer shade of red. I envy anyone who can pull off a true, rich red shade as it proves impossible for me.

Have you ever played Sex, Marry, Kill? Obviously, my best friend Jai and I have way too much time our hands since we often play it.
Obviously easy to figure out if you never played.
Someone presents a list of three people in your life or celebs and you decide if you want to have sex with them, marry them, or kill them off.
Fun times right?
I had a good one recently which consisted of Neil Gaiman, Taylor Lautner, and Albert Einstein….can you guess who I had sex with, who I married, and who I killed?

So why am I telling you this? Because my variation of the game involves cosmetics. I’ll give you three options and you tell me if you’d keep the item and use it, stash it away in your beauty vault and never use it because it’s just so damn pretties, or trash it in the makeup graveyard!

Gabourey Sidibe and Bobbi Brown Sitting in a Tree, Not Kissing, But Creating a Makeup Collection?
Actress Gabourey Sidibe is rumored to have a cosmetic collection in the works simply because she showed up at a party…what? how? who?! I want in on that party so me and Bobbi can meet, become best friends forever and ever, and have her do a Muse inspired makeup collection. I dream about it every night.
Supposedly the actress was at the Bobbi Brown offices the day of the party, discussing the possibility of doing a color cosmetic collection. Bobbi Brown did Gabby’s make up for the Golden Globes as well recently.
Some reports are saying that they wouldn’t be surprised over the collaboration because of Bobbi’s preference for real-looking women and girls for her models but honestly I don’t think I’ve ever seen Bobbi Brown do a collaboration with anyone. Mind you I’m only a fan for a few years but I haven’t seen Bobbi hooking up with celebs in my years.
If this does happen, the good news, would be that Bobbi is definitely capturing a new audience as Gabby has a deeper skin tone which isn’t quite covered in the current Bobbi Brown range of shades.

Damn, can’t believe all the buzz surrounding Eat, Pray, Love. Is it me or has the whole Internet and beauty world gone cra-cra for this flick? I wasn’t even interested in seeing it until all this marketing behind it convinced me I must see or possibly die if I don’t.

Megan Fox is the new face of Giorgio Armani Cosmetics and will appear in a new ad campaign starting this year. Megan already has Emporio Armani underwear and Armani Jeans under her belt so this isn’t too new a venture for her.
A spokeswoman said: “Megan embodies the spirit of the women of today: free, confident and seductive. Her beautiful features reveal femininity, sensuality and strength.”
Aside from being a tad young (she’s 24) I think she’ll do well as the face of Armani. Megan reminds me of Bettie Page in some ways (not all ways as Dita Von Teese gets that award) and has a certain classy elegance.
I think it’s a yay for Megan Fox.
I’m quite eager to see the promotional images when they release!

Love them or hate them, celebrity fragrances are a popular commodity. Everyone and their mum can have a fragrance all their own nowadays. The latest news on the celeb perfume front is a release from Katy Perry coming soon. Honestly? I want one from Russell Brand, I’d buy that in a heartbeat.

You hate celeb fragrances!
Totally can relate. I’m not super keen on them myself but on occasion I honestly don’t mind, hello Harajuku Lovers! Now I gotta say Mariah Carey kinda irks me for some reason or another, so NOT a fan, but when I seen the new Mariah Carey Lollipop Bling Perfumes I noticed my ear cocked up and my nose began to twitch. I needed to know more about these and my nose definitely needed a little sniffle. I mean lollipop? That’s so very ME! I love sweet, candy scents!
Recently I decided to rekindle my romance with Miss Dior Cherie (I have a love/hate relationship with it) and took myself off to Macy’s to get a new bottle. As I was browsing I heard a squeal and turned to see my friend Jai madly misting himself madly with a bright bottle. Yup, you guessed it, Lollipop Bling fragrances were being misted around crazily. Needless to say I only casually sniffed the bottles and didn’t get as crazy as Jai did since I didn’t want to dish out $35 each (yo, pokemon crazy collector disease) after shelling out $100 for my bottle of Cherie. I wish I had paid more attention because my initial reaction to the scent wasn’t particularly “OMG I need these” and I can’t really go by Jai’s reaction because he’s Mariah’s fan girl.
Damn.
Now after browsing online I kinda wanna take a closer look and smell but I do admit one thing annoys me….

Aww that crazy Gaga. Pissing off not only Jerry Seinfeld but Beatles fans everywhere this week when she banged away on John’s classic white piano ahem sorry Ono’s white piano.
