Here’s a little obscure treat from Votre Vu! Their new Lip Lustre Lipglosses which are rather lovely Votre Vu Lip Lustre Lipgloss launched earlier this Summer and I kid you not soon after getting my hands on some the shade Tempting became my HG (holy grail) Summer shade. I have never in my life used up a gloss this quickly.
Now that we are in Fall season and I’m on my second tube the shade still continues to impress as does the formula on this fun little glosses.
Bobbi Brown Pale Pink Lipgloss is one of three new shades of lipgloss that was introduced with the Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Collection for Fall 2013. I’m on a roll lately with all these nude lippies that are popping up eh? Earlier today I reviewed the Bobbi Brown Baby Pink Lip Color for you as well which is a rather perfect companion to this gloss.
Are you a bronzer babe? You might just like the new Stila Dancing with the Stars Bronzing Powder ($16) if you are! Stila’s new Dancing with the Stars Collection is a collaborated effort between Stila and Dancing with the Stars with makeup palettes and face powders that are used behind the scenes on all the DWTS dancers.
And by the way…can I just say I don’t watch Dancing with the Stars but I have to watch this season to support my fellow geek in arms Bill Nye the dancing Science Guy! He needs to win this competition for freaks, geeks, nerds, and dorks everywhere! Dance Bill dance! Dance till you can’t dance no more! And hopefully someone thinks its a good idea to choreograph a dance with this song:
But about that Stila Dancing With the Stars Bronzing Powder….
Bobbi Brown Baby Pink Lip Color ($25) is one of two Bobbi Brown Lipsticks shades released with Bobbi’s new Rich Chocolate Collection. I love the contrast of shades that Bobbi released with the Rich Chocolate Eye Palette. On one hand you have soft, nude shades like Baby Pink and on the other you have colors like Tea Berry which are delightfully pigmented berry pinks shades. She created the option of doing a soft nude eye and lip look or a nude eye and popping lip look with these colors.
I adore the difference in shades which makes the palette all the more exciting to try!
You either love ‘em or you hate ‘em but MAC Prolong Wear Paint Pots are hear to stay. The MAC Prolong Wear Paint Pot is incredibly confusing for me as they are simply MAC Paint Pots…I mean MAC didn’t really reformulate them as far as I know but simply tacked on Prolong Wear to the name.
But fact is they can be mighty handy little makeup pieces to have around.
Take a peek at some of the new shades released this Fall!
