Lucky enough the wrinkle bug hasn’t quite bitten me yet. The Muse sports fine lines under her eyes but her face is pretty smooth so far thankfully. She recently got a chance to check the new Avon Anew Wrinkle Zone Line Smoothing Duo and didn’t think much of it as this is meant for crows feet, lines around the mouth, and generally little pesky wrinkles that crop up on the face.
After trying it out she was chuffed at how well it worked she even improvised slightly and used it in places not recommended by the actually instructions…what? She likes living dangerously!
What did she think?

Avon Anew Wrinkle Zone Line Smoothing Duo is a dual container which contains a fine powder on the bottom and the lid houses a creamy wrinkle eraser. Looks much like concealer wouldn’t you say? Heck, Bobbi Brown’s concealer dual looks alot like this.
The idea of the product is that it targets crow’s feet, furrow lines, forehead creases, marionette lines (around the mouth), and other finely lined areas. Supposedly the formula contains a wrinkle reverse technology that minimizes the looks of fine lines and after four weeks you’ll notice smoother skin. I can’t say if it works as of yet since I’ve only been using it a week plus my skin isn’t so lined that I’ll notice dramatic results more than likely.
However, I will say I like it very much and I think it’s worthy of a pick up. Here’s the deets why I thought it was an interesting product.
One of the best things about the product is the key fact that it smooths and perfects my face for a more flawless look. The tiny concealer like cream comes in light, medium, and deep shades. I got mine in light which is a perfect shade for my tone. Basically I smooth it under my eyes after my concealer and around the sides of my nose, blending outwards. I follow up by using an eye shadow blending brush to smooth on some of the loose powder. The results are beautifully smooth, flawless skin. I particularly like the way it fills in the tiny lines under my eyes and makes me look more awake and refreshed. The formula of the cream has a slightly silicon feel which could account for it’s ability to fill lines. The powder is sheer and light enough not to settle into my fine lines and manages to create a brighter, fresher look to my makeup. I use the duo after I’ve completed my base makeup.
Overall, It’s a rather handy duo to have around for touching up after your completed base makeup. It perfects your foundation and creates a brighter more flawless look for makeup. It’s not something that will erase dark circles nor is it used all over your face. But used sparsely in certain areas such as under the eyes it can create a nice, blurred look to your skin mimicking that of a flawless complexion. It’ll be a big win with ladies who are showing signs of aging on their faces as it’ll fill, blur, and minimize the appearance of the lines I think.
Likey very much!
You can get Anew Wrinkle Zone Line Smoothing Duo from a Avon rep for $12 at the moment but I’m sure you’ll see it launch later on the Avon website.
