Rodial A-List Cleanser Review
The Muse sometimes pretends she’s an A-Lister, actually wait a sec, I AM an A-Lister, in my own mind I am.
Naaa seriously closest I’ve come to A-Listing it is the Rodial A-List Cleanser I was testing out the past two weeks, that’s about extent to my claim to fame.
Take the jump for the dealio on Rodial A-List Cleanser.
What is it?
It’s a brightening, lightening cleanser that melts away makeup and dirt, but also helps with age spots and hyperpigmentation thanks to amino acids and Vitamin C.
I basically call it Shu Uemura Oil Cleanser in a balm form. Pretty much works the same way. It’s a creamy balm which you use on a dry face. Squirt a few pumps into your hand, smooth on, splash a little water onto your face and it turns into a milky toner which breaks up makeup.
In two weeks I haven’t noticed any brightening or whitening effects as of yet but I will say I actually love the texture of this and the way it gets my face super duper clean. If you want to reach outside the realms of your normal oil cleanser this is worthy of a try out especially if you have dry, tired skin. It rinses clean away, breaks up makeup beautifully, and doesn’t dry skin out.
The only problem I had with it was the $59 price tag which gets you 3.4 oz of product. For this price my normal Shu Uemura Oil Cleanser works out to be the better deal and that’s saying something as Shu is expensive as sin. On a side note I originally seen this for $80 and but it seems the price was lowered, honestly $80 would be a little too crazy for me to splurge due to it’s small size.
Overall, liked it and think it could prove worthy of a haul if you have uneven skin, dullness, etc…as it may help with those areas. Also rather good if you prefer a balm, cream over an oil based cleanser.
I’m not going to say it’s a love as the price tag prevents that but I will say it’s a like.
Anyone ever try?
