Rosette Hello Kitty Hyaluronic Acid Gel Review
The Muse was kinda feeling the love for the new Rosette Hello Kitty Skincare Collection and she admits to overindulging in the lot. I didn’t really need this stuff as I’m busy plotting a rather large Skin Food order at the moment but who can resist Hello Kitty?

Rosette is an inexpensive line of skincare available within Japan. They created a limited edition Hello Kitty line which includes facial cleansers, a peel, and a moisturizer. I recently ordered the moisturizer, peel, and collagen facial cleanser for my own collection because as I said I couldn’t resist Hello Kitty, so kawaii! I got all of it off of JpMon for close to retail prices but I have seen it in various online shops and E-bay but the prices are obscene in my humblest opinion. If you’re interested in the collection I suggest seeing my JpMon Tutorial and ordering directly as for example the Rosette Hello Kitty Hyaluronic Acid Gel retails for 1,480 yen and is available from JPmon for 599TWD, that’s a mere $2 USD more than retail so as you can see the best deal is JPmon where as online sellers have it marked up as high as $25 USD.
Rosette Hello Kitty Hyaluronic Acid Gel is free of fragrance and mineral oil and acts as a lotion, essence, emulsion, and cream. The Japanese and most Asian countries are big on several step skin care systems so this actually produces the same results as you would get using the one product rather than hauling out four. Hyaluronic Acid Gel is considered one of the gentlest ways to treat fine lines and wrinkles. I have neither on my face but I liked the idea of a gel moisturizer for lighter makeup days. The gel is quite thick and does feel slightly sticky on the face but it absorbs fairly quickly and easily so any tackiness is brief. It’s moisturizing and offers quick hydration to my skin and works quite a treat as a night treatment as my face is dewy in the AM after use. I could easily see this becoming a nice night cream treatment for me when I’m not wanting to indulge in my richer creams.
It comes in a simple white jar with a Hello Kitty face on the front. No references to the brand are made which is simply darling to me as after you use the gel you can store other skincare inside or little knick knacks if you so please without having an ugly label splashed across the front.
It’s pretty nice for dry skin in my opinion as the gel is quite thick and moisturizing. A dab before makeup, used as a primer, will easy rid your face of flakes and dry patches.
Overall, I can’t speak for what it’s doing for fine lines and wrinkles but it does a fine job of offering extra moisture to my face plus the package tickles me!
Cutes, loves it! I’ll be reviewing the cleanser and peel for you in a future review so stay tuned.
