Marc Jacobs Splash Collection 2010: Apple, Pomegranate, and Biscotti

Hey chicklets!

More word on the Marc Jacobs Splash Collection 2010 inspired by Patisserie macaroons. Can I hear a nom, nom?

Jump!

Anything that makes me feel as if I’m in Paris is a given so yes please I’d ever so much love to indulge in the new Marc Jacobs Splash Collection. Inspired by the simple, yet decadent pleasure of a Parisian patisserie, these three limited edition scents awaken the senses and entice the palate as the perfect summer treat.

Packaged in luxurious glass bottles, these in three crisp scents: Apple, Biscotti and Pomegranate grace this collection!

  • Apple

Aromatic and energizing, this intriguing fresh scent evokes the tartness of an Apple, Lemon and Grapefruit, with the unexpected surprise of Rosemary, Jasmin and Magnolia. Developed by Yann Vasnier of Givaudan in a crisp, green tint.

  • Pomegranate

Capturing the sparkling radiance of this exotic fruit, this vibrant fragrance also exudes Mandarin Flowers, Bergamot, Rhubarb and Sugared Musk. Created by perfumer Patty Hidalgo of Fragrance Resources in an inviting warm tint.

  • Biscotti

The perfect pick-me-up, this savory scent tempts the senses with Freesia, Bergamot, Orange Flower, Pistachio, and Vanilla. Developed by Richard Herpin of Firmenich in a warm, gold tint.

Each scent from the Splash Collection retails for $68 and are available March 2010 at Saks, Sephora, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom and March Jacobs Boutiques.

Whatcha think?

Macaroons are my down fall so I’m just rubbing my tummy and thinking how delightful these will smell!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. @ Apple and Pomegranate: yum yum, do want
I’ve never seen splashes before, but apparently you get a lot for the money (compared to perfume) because you are expected to literally splash it on! Mmm novelty.

Are we sure it’s Biscotto and not Biscotti? The bottle in the picture is Biscotti.
(Maybe it’s called Biscotti because there is more of it?)
Mmmm… Now I am hungry for some coffee and biscotti. Yum!
