mark On the Dot Eye Color Compact and mark Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette

Just so you know Matt Smith is partially nude on this month’s GT UK. Geronimo!

I showed my friend Sam but she doesn’t appreciate such find things in life (but I made damn sure to get an airmailed copy to give to her next time I see her hehe) so I thought I’d share it with my other fellow geeks around here. Enjoy, no need to thank me. Heavy sarcasm here.

And let me just do the math….calculator in hand…looks like 2 covers of GT for Matt and NONE for David.

Great way to start your Monday off know?

On to the makeup my dears….

mark On the Dot Eye Color Compact and mark Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette is a better way to start off the week!

Check ’em dolls!

I get so damn excited when mark does new stuff. It’s so hip compared to the regular Avon offerings dontcha think?

My lems of the moment….

Shimmery shades of pink, gold, and bronze as an allover color sensation for your face! Hello Bobbi Brown Shimmerbrick dupe!?

Now this I love! 9 shades of vibrant shadow in a limited edition compact. Damn cute innit?

I’m debating on the price at the moment as my frugal conscious, yeah, sometimes I have one, is telling me OMGZ it’s Avon why is it so expensive? And my throw cash at anything conscious is saying, OMG I must has it!

Needless to say my throw cash at anything side won.

Expect a review shortly.

Whatcha think?

Personally I love the shimmer cubes. I was worried it would just make me look shiny, but it really does give off a nice warm glow that makes me look a little healthier than my normal pale pasty self.
I didn’t really like the eye compact at first because the shadow particles seem a little on the chunky side, but they blend really well and I’ve been wearing the gray shade almost every day for the past week and mixing in different colors with it. They’re not quite as vibrant as I’d like (I’m a MAC eyeshadow girl at heart) but they definitely did not disappoint.

I have both of these, they are quite pretty. The shimmer cubes are raised, and you can use them as eyeshadows as well as an all over highlighter. The eyeshadow palette is nice, with the eyeshadows being about the size of a Yaby eyeshadow. In the compact these don’t feel as smooth as I would like, but they all swatch nicely with the lighter shades having less pigmentation than the brighter / darker shades.

First off, I just wanna say that I appreciate the picture. In fact, I appreciate it A LOT. Two half naked men, staring lovingly at each other, what’s not to love?

The colours in the palette look very interesting, expecially the blue, greyish and the bronzy colour. Even though those sort of colours never fit me, I just know I’m gonna keep buying ’em, LOL.

LOL GipC 😀 MS fan!? 😀

lol! I hear ya. lately I haven’t been able to pull off maroons or red as they are making my eyes look tired but I keep buying ;-D glutton for punishment

muse, i have an extra of both these palettes. a friend who is a mark. rep ordered me a bunch of stuff to try. i’d be more than happy to mail you them to try!! just email me. btw i am in LOVE with the dots — it’s like MAC pigments had an affair with Illamasqua’s Liquid Metal and pressed into a lil round pans. I figured out the trick is to apply with fingers for full intensity—a brush may dilute the chrome-like lustre.
