MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick Review, Swatches, Photos
Oh dear me, I’m terribly sorry MAC I think I underestimated your Sheen Supreme Lipsticks! It’s just that the name put me off for a second and they looked creamy…I run for the hills when it comes to a cream finish.
But…but…now I need them all!
Jump!
A few of the MAC Sheen Supreme Lipsticks popped into my mailbox today and I wasn’t expecting much but was delightfully surprised at the formula!
It’s hard to describe these little bundles of joy but it’s a cross between a glorified lip balm, a shiny gloss, and a lipstick all rolled into one.
With plenty of pigmentation to give a transparent color finish and a glossy shine these are a treat for Spring. They wear lightweight and comfortably with a super moisturizing formula and incredible shine.
In some ways they remind me of Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Color with the less balm-y texture and a way more glossy finish. The pigmentation is subtle but strong enough to get noticed and add something extra special to lips.
I’m not a big lipstick girl but these are simply amazing. The shine, the lightweight, comfortable wear, and the pretty shades should easily convince you that they’ll be a must have for your Spring wardrobe.
I tried out shades Bare Again (pink beige), Look at Her (metallic copper), and Full Speed (light coral). I absolutely adore Bare Again even thought I thought it would be a tad too nude for me it ended up turning into quite a nice pink beige on my lips. Look at Her is another stunning shade and will look quite gorgeous with a bronze-y lid.
All in all I’m loving these. Count me surprised as I suspected I didn’t need a single one but after trying out the formula I’m now making a list of shades I do need to haul.
Very Muse Approved for purchase.
Don’t let the uneventful look of these lippies fool you, they pack a nice, wearable formula that you’ll easily love!
Shee Supreme lippies are available on counter starting March 3rd.
