Super by Dr. Nicholas Perricone First Blush Brightening Serum Review

I’m blushing…

Oh wait, that’s just First Blush Brightening Serum that’s giving me that glow!

Dontcha just love that freshly scrubbed face look? Super by Dr. Nicholas Perricone First Blush Brightening Serum gives you exactly that.

Let’s take a look!

A concentrated brightener that returns skin to innocence. Its powerful superfood ingredients tighten skin’s texture while leaving the complexion healthy and glowing.

So far the Super skincare line by Dr. Nicholas Perricone is the ideal solution for my instant gratification, I want it NOW kinda personality. That was so a Veruca Salt kinda moment was it? Totally!

No but seriously most of the products I tried from the collection work almost immediately and the First Blush Brightening Serum is no different.

This comes in a frosty glass jar with a dropper for application. You can use it before moisturizer on a freshly washed face and almost immediately you’ll see results. It’s supposed to restore the glow to your face and also brighten your complexion. I’ve been using it for a few months and so far it hasn’t really brightened my face but it does give my face a flush of color, almost a glow if you will. My skin is ultra dull due to dryness and this restores some of the vitality to my face that’s missing due to dullness and dry skin. It’s quite a feat!

The formula isn’t a traditional serum and is more of a milky, runny liquid which absorbs easily. It doesn’t necessarily offer more hydration to my face and outside of restoring my skin’s glow I see no other benefits…but hey, the glow alone is well worth it in my opinion plus it doesn’t promise to do anything else but just that anyway so I’m a happy camper.

I normally use it in the evening and following up with my moisture. As I said results are instant and my skin looks healthy and happy again after use. In the AM the results remain however if I discontinue using the serum the results do diminish so constant use is necessary and so far long term results of glowing skin don’t appear to be in my future unless I’m diligent about using this daily.

Love the results but wish it was long term!

  • Anyone who has dull skin and is in need of a pick me up!
  • Anyone looking for a natural serum to give skin a perk up sans parabens and other ugly ingredients.
  • Those who want a lightweight serum that adds a glow to skin!

  • Those seeking long term results (you have to continue using for the best overall results and without continuous use the effects will disappear sadly).

Although the Super Skincare Collection is geared towards a younger crowd I’ve found some very unique, interesting, and great products in the batch. I generally like the line and so far have had instant results with everything I tried from them. First Blush Brightening Serum really gives my skin an instant glow and makes it look healthy and hydrated with continued use. It’s $48 so it doesn’t come cheap but you only need a few drops so the bottle will last you quite a while.

Overall, anyone experiencing the signs of a dull complexion should check this one out, it’ll perk your skin right up!

Loves!

What exactly does “brightening” mean? I am using something that says it brightens, but I don’t really know what I should expect.

lightening would literally whiten your face lillie and brightening adds luminous to your skin, youthfulness, eases dullness.
