Off topic but….
Happiness is Elvis sitting at the bus stop discussing the philosophy of life with an old Asian man in chucks. CLICK!
Thanks to Beth, BPAL Barista for posting that TwitPic, it totally made my morning!
Happiness also comes in the form of cheap as day old chips cleansing oil!
Have you tried Biore Cleansing Oil?

A cleansing oil for removing makeup in a snap.
Our version of Biore and Japan’s version are vastly different sadly right down to the packaging. Maybe one day we’ll have a Cleansing Oil from Biore but for now it remains exclusive to the Asian market. However, the good news is that if you live in an Asian Community or you have alot of smaller Asian shops and stores around your city you’ll be able to find Biore Cleansing Oil in a snap plus it’ll set you back $7-$10 at most. If not, no worry, it’s all over the internet for around the same price!
Sweet eh?
Alot of folks aren’t particularly keen on this oil and feel like it doesn’t do a fab job of clean up and I agree in some cases but I use it on days I’m not wearing alot of makeup.
Love the purple packaging and the sweet, crunchy apple scent which isn’t overpowering but just right. The oil is thinner in consistency compared to other Cleansing Oils you may have tried such as Shu and it doesn’t quite emulsify in the same fashion as other products of its kinds but it does a pretty decent job of removing basic makeup such as BB Cream, foundation products, blush, and minor eye makeup.
Cleansing Oils do scare folks as hey, greasy oil on my face? Nooo! But no worries anyone even oily skin users can indulge as it rinses clean away. Simply pump the oil into the palms of your hands, massage onto a dry, fully loaded face of makeup and add a little water after to emulsify the oil. Continue to massage and proceed to rinse! Presto! Clean face! The oily rinses clean away.
Biore Cleansing Oil doesn’t leave my face dry or tight, it rinses easily, and doesn’t give me trippy, acid tab dropping cloudy vision either after use, always a plus as far as I am concerned.
It does suffer a bit…
When it comes to hardcore makeup. I find it does a decent job with basic makeup application but mascara and waterproof eye makeup isn’t quite cleaned up as well as if I use some of my other cleansing oils.
- Anyone looking for a cheap, inexpensive cleansing oil!
- Anyone who wears minimal makeup!
- Those who hate cloudy vision after cleansing oil use.
- Those who wear a TON of makeup (you might want to haul out the big guns for that type of makeup removal).
- Available exclusively in the Asian market!
Overall, Biore Cleansing Oil is something that sticks around in my cabinet for quickie makeup removal. It’s inexpensive, it works fairly well on most makeup removal, and smells lovely. There are a slew of better cleansing oils available at a cheap price that will do a better job with waterproof eye makeup but for days that I’m wearing the minimal amount of makeup, Biore Cleansing Oil does the trick just fine.
Well worth a purchase for my minimal makeup girls!
Use it already?
