Wants It: Sephora Instant Moisture Mask

Sephora Instant Moisture Mask

Hoyu is a larger Hair Dye company in Japan. One of there popular series is Beauteen which is a gentle way for teens to dye their hair.

Sephora channels Beauteen Hair Dye with their new Instant Moisture Mask. I saw this and instantly though, “Oh, hair dye!” as it comes in a one of those super size Slurpee style cups as does Beautee’s hair dye….so you’re either very Asia and thinking, “hair dye!” or you’re really American and thinking, “7-11! Slurpees!”

Sephora Instant Moisture Mask 2011

Haha!

Let’s take a look at Sephora Instant Moisture Mask because at the very least, cool packaging aside, it sounds like an intriguing product!

I just placed an order with Sephora and stupidly forgot to add this to my cart.

Basically it’s an at-home mask that offers intensive hydration.

I admit the mix it yourself option totally appealed to my inner mad scientist, when I grow up I wanna be Bill Nye!

To create the mask you put it into your hair dye, slurpee cup, salad shaker (ha remember those Mcdonald Salad Shakers), or whatever you want to call it, add water, and shake! Once it reaches a smoothie-like texture you apply to your face and wait 5 to 10 minutes for smoother, more rested, glowing skin!

HydroSenn+, a plant-derived active ingredient, provides instant moisture and comfort even more effectively than hyaluronic acid. Wait, what? Record scratch!

More effectively than hyaluronic acid? Say word! Hyaluronic acid is my go product and it’s hard to believe something else can possibly take its place!

I wanna try!

The set includes:

  • Four Instant Moisture Mask packets
  • McShaker (I added the MC part *wink*)

It’s only $15, can’t lose much by trying!

Available now at www.Sephora.com

Wow, this looks so cool. Its not very expensive either. Do you know if after using up those 4 packets we can just buy more without the shaker?
I gotta say, when i first looked at the shaker it reminded me of a garbage can. But after reading “shaker” all i can think about right now is how much i want a cocktail. lol

Does this product contain fragrance and if so, is it enough to potentially irritating? LOVE your blog. Thanks so much.

hi silly thanks so much! :) I’m not sure hun as I mentioned in the post I forgot to order it when I placed my recent Sephora order so I haven’t tried it and not sure if it has any fragrance or how well it performs. When I try it I’ll review and let you know.

Wanted to follow up and let you know that I ordered this product shortly after I read about it on your blog. It’s not for me. I had a bad allergic reaction but cleared it up with benadryl and cortisone cream. So, I have 4 packets and the shaker but do not want to send them back to Sephora. I would be happy to send them to you (free of charge) to try and officially review if you would like. Just send me an address to my private e-mail and I’ll get them right out to you.
