Dullness…one of my top priorities when it comes to my skin. I suffer from really bad dull, tired looking skin. So I have to keep my hands on it constantly to keep it glowing and looking lively.

100% Pure Brightening Scrub + Mask is an exfoliating treatment made of bearberry, kojic acid, sake, fruit acids, vitamin c, lemon juice, and strawberries. The scrub has a bright, sunny scent of lemons that’s tart yet sweet, it kinda smells lemon candy-ish to my nose, very pleasant. The formula does not contain harsher chemicals, artificial fragrances, parabens, chemical preservatives, etc…and is a natural, vegan product so if you’re controlling about what goes onto your face, you’ll love this formula.

I use it once or twice a week and it does indeed liven up dull skin and makes skin brighter and smoother. I’m not really keen on it as a mask treatment as I don’t really notice much when I use it as such but as a scrub it’s excellent. The formula is a creamy base with tiny grains. It isn’t harsh or scratchy on my skin and offers just the right amount of exfoliation without being over done. It smooths drier areas and immediately after use I can see that my lackluster skin looks brighter and more livelier.

This one was an instant hit for me and will probably become a staple product in my skincare regime!

A tube expires within a six month period sadly so you do have to dedicate yourself to using it daily less it expires before you use it up!

4

  • Those will dull, tired skin!
  • Those looking to perk skin up as well as get it smoother.
  • Those who are looking for a organic, vegan friendly facial scrub.
  • Those wanting to indulge in a scrub with fruit base versus harsher chemicals.

5

  • Those who have alot on various skincare products (If you use alot of different things or you switch scrubs alot you might not want to commit as this does need to be used up in six months which could prove a challenge for those who have a larger stash of skincare).

6
Overall, 100% Pure Brightening Scrub + Mask main appeal for me was its ability to make my skin look smoother and brighter however it’s biggest appeal would be the gentle formula and lack of harmful ingredients. Sometimes green friendly products and makeup aren’t all that great but 100% Pure successfully brings a facial scrub to the table that not only works but has a formula we can all feel safe and happy using.

Likey!

I have a face mask/scrub addiction so I normally have 5 – 6 masks/scrubs in the queue during any given week…so to have to use this in 6 months, meh. But it looks nice thought!!

BTW, I hauled the MESS outta some Soap & Glory from sephora.com and I LOVE the fragrance and texture of all the stuff and I’m now a fiend. I have you to thank for that Muse :)

I tried the line and really only fell for the toner. I didn’t get enough exfoliation from the scrub and the balm clogged my pores something awful. Thumbs up for the toner, though. It smells like lemonade! :-)

Hi Muse, is there any note in the packaging that mentions this product will expire in 6 months? Really curious about that because I can’t find it in their website. Thanks :)

The one that I’m really care about actually not only this Brightening Scrub & Mask, but also all 100% Pure products in general, especially my 100% Pure Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream. It’s 1 fl oz. I usually finish a tube of 0.5 fl oz eye cream more than one year. There is no manufacture or expire date on the packaging :(
Maybe I should contact their customer service.
Thanks a lot for the reply, Muse.

hi again, most of the products I’ve tried and even the makeup had a six month expiration date stamped on. But I don’t currently have any 100% products that I can verify at the moment. def do. I’m sure they’ll give you better info! or tweet them :)
