Bath & Body Works Spider Cider Body Lotion Review
Spider Cider is one of six new mini body lotions releasing along with the Bath & Body Works Halloween 2011 Collection. These mini lotions are priced at $5 each or you can haul three of them for $10.
I thought Spider Cider was the best of the few I’ve tried so far and deserving of a back up!

This is a really interesting blend and doesn’t feel like a retake, revamp, or repackaged fragrance from BBW. I can’t say this reminds me of anything in the line already, smells like a brand new scent to me. Where as some of the prior body lotions I reviewed felt comparable or even dupes of scents that BBW has already released or even ones that are already available in the standard collection, Spider Cider smells brand new to me.
The scent is a juicy red berries, lemon and black sugar. Somehow the combination of the berries, which play a dominate role in the fragrance, and lemon create almost an orange-y like scent that definitely reminds me of Halloween somehow. The scent is playful, fruity, and almost…very subtly, candy-like if you will.
I find the berries are the first to hit your nose but the addition of lemon gives them a little bit of orange plus the healthy dose of sugary sweetness adds a touch of candy to the overall scent.
As with all the body lotions in this collection, Spider Cider sports a very cute label featuring a web and a spider and a marketing slogan that may make you smile, “Made with Real Spiders”.
It’s not a traditional Fall scent due to its sweet, fruitiness but it does somehow remind me of Halloween.
Likey lots!
This one I’m slapping a Muse Approval on!
