E.L.F. Studio Cosmetics Lotion Wipes Review
I gotta say I’m always a little surprised that my sister doesn’t glide across the room when she walks. The girl applies body cream by the gallon everyday. Bless her soul.
I wish I was as diligent and I should be since I have drier skin but I feel so pressed for time in the morning that I sometimes skip out on the body cream and leave it until the evening or dare I say sometimes in the evenings I forget! Needless to say I should be moisturizing my body way more than I do…! If I used as much moisturizer on my body as I do on my face I’d probably glide too.
That’s why I gotta say that E.L.F. Lotion Wipes are kinda rocking my world at the moment. These are so freaking nifty.
Take a look!
These are seriously awesome. Each package contains 15 pre-soaked moisture sheets ($3 per pack). They kinda resemble makeup remover wipes but they are saturated with body lotion rather than cleanser.
They come in the following scents:
- Vanilla & Coconut
- Milk & Honey
- Cucumber & Melon
- Peony Petal
- Sweet Mango
The formula is a light lotion that you can swipe on using the sheet. The sheets aren’t overly saturated but they contain just the right amount of product to hydrate skin delicately and leave behind a fresh scent. Granted, they aren’t going to attack SUPER rough areas but they prove lovely for on the go use and travel (no bulky bottles to carry!).
The application is mess-free however, they leave hands slightly sticky after use but it absorbs quickly enough so it isn’t too bothersome.
I used them on my arms and legs for the past two days and they work a treat for both areas. I like how lightweight the lotion is so I’m not left feeling greasy or oily after use just pleasantly moist.
The sheets are infused with Aloe, Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E, Soy, Ginkgo Biloba, Coconut Milk and Sweet Almond Oil.
They aren’t an end all to your body lotion of choice but they are a convenient way to hydrate with a mess-free method that’s travel friendly.
At $3 for 15 sheets they probably aren’t the cheapest option in the world since body creams are a dime a dozen at the drugstore for considerably more product but I still like them. As someone who travels a lot I love that I can tuck these in my carry on and not piss the TSA off.
Overall, a fun way to get your daily moisture.
