Seeking that perfect shade of honey rose bronze for your cheeks? You NEED Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cream Blush in Honey!

What a stunning shade!

Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cream Blush in Honey is a limited edition shade available with the Elizabeth Arden Rose Aurora Collection for Spring/Summer 2012.

This comes in a lovely little rose gold compact with a mirror for application. I’m absolutely loving the Rose Aurora compacts, they are really stunning little pieces of makeup so yes, I’m quite delighted with this compact as it’s pretty and very, very portable. This about the size of a MAC Eyeshadow (a little bigger) which makes it easy enough to travel for touch ups although I do understand some folks aren’t willing to stick their fingers into the blush at all, I’m with you and relate. I typically pack a sponge for application to avoid this.

The real joy here is not only the formula but the shade. The color is a unique honey rose with a touch of nude peach. It’s shimmer free and leaves behind a dewy sheen finish that’s quite flattering. No worries about the sheen, I have a friend who has oily skin and it looks incredible on his skin as well as my own since I typically do not like cream blushes with such a finish.

The formula is has a creamy, hydrating feel that blends super easily and packs plenty of pigment so cheeks are left with a warm flush of natural color. It goes rosy peach nude on my cheeks. It’s very flattering to say the least.

Overall, this is a must have in my opinion. The shade is unique enough for even those who have an array of blushes in their stash already and the cream formula has a strong wear time even in the humidity with minimal fade at around five hours of wear. I really enjoyed this but just wished for a bigger size as the limited edition-ness of it makes me feel like I need a back up less I sob when I’ve use it all up!

That looks so much more lovely on your skin than it does in the pan!! When I first saw it in the compact I thought it looked waaaaay too brown for a blush but once I saw the swatched picture? IN. LOVE. Definitely adding this to my wish-list!!

I never really look at Elizabeth Arden stuff, but alas…a blush lemming is born. 🙂

I also have never considered Elizabeth Arden make up, but this looks just gorgeous. I’m also intrigued by Plum.

I have a very small house, with a very small make up storage space. Your blog is dangerous. *order!*

I have the Philosophy cream blush from the sale at Bit Lots. The packaging is almost identical to this Elizabeth Arden one expect its black. The honey blush color is beautiful, but I am afraid that if I buy more cream blushes they will dry out before I use them up. 🙁

This looks fascinating, I hate any blush with sparkly crap in it, but I am always seeking a “glowy” effect. Not sure the shade will work with my skin coloring, but this has made me think twice about Elizabeth Arden.
