Les Essentials de Chanel Fall 2012 Makeup Collection

By Isabella Muse on July 2, 2012 12 Comments

in Chanel, Fall Collections 2012

It’s hot outside but Fall isn’t too far away!

Officially details for the Chanel Fall 2012 Makeup Collection have popped up today.

Take a look!

The little black dress, the quilted handbag, the two-toned shoe — the iconic essentials created by Coco Chanel inspire
Peter Philips, Creative Director of Chanel Makeup, to create the elegant Fall 2012 Collection, Les Essentials de Chanel. Classic pinks and natural beiges soften the face and lips while fuschia and modern black dress the nails.

Chanel Lumiere D’Artifices Beiges Illuminating Powder with Shimmer (Light beige, Rosy beige) $65
This highlighting face powder epitomizes the modern-classic look of Fall beauty and the artistry of Chanel. Enchantingly
rendered to resemble sequins, the duo of lighter and darker beige shades blends together harmoniously for a subtly
iridescent complexion, extending a summer glow.

Chanel Ombre Essenitille Soft Touch Eyeshadow $28.50
The focus of Fall eyes, this new formulation showcasing four shades of the renowned eyeshadow delivers long-lasting sheer and
shimmer effects. In a cream-to-powder formula — both exquisitely soft and long-wearing — the shadow offers captivating hues
from warm peach to silvery grey.

Shades:

  • Complice (Soft Peach)
  • Eclairé (Sheer Gold)
  • Furtif (Silver Grey)
  • Infini (Silver)

Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush $43
A sheer, radiant rose lends a natural blush to cheeks.

Shade:

  • Rose Initiale (Peach Pink)

Chanel Rouge Coco Hydrating Crème Lip Colour $32.50
Lustrous lip shades of beige-rose and brown-plum shine with beauty.

Shades:

  • Chic (Beige)
  • Parfait (Tender Pink)

Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour $26
From fuchsia to dark and dramatic black, nails strike the balance between edgy and polished. $26.00

Shades:

  • Vertigo (Grey Black)
  • Suspicious (Fuschia)
  • Frenzy (Lilac Grey)

Chanel Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow Palette $58
Shades:

  • Premier Regard (Taupe brown, tender pink, beige and intense black)

Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner $30
Shades:

  • Noir Intense (intense black)
  • Silver (light silver)

Chanel Lvres Scintillantes Glossmier $29.50
Shades:

  • Sweet Beige (Beige Shimmer)

Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss Pure Shine Intense Colour Long Wear Lipgloss $32
Shades:

  • Troublant (Rose Brown)
  • Caprice (Delicate Pink)

Chanel Rouge Double Intensite Ultra Wear Lip Colour $34
Shades:

  • Almandine (Red Plum)

Chanel Le Crayon Levres Precision Lip Definer $29
Shades:

  • Amarante (Violet Plum)

Les Essentials de Chanel for Fall 2012 will launch on counter and online at Chanel.com in July.

This collection looks lovely. I’m thinking about getting the illuminating powder but will have to wait until I can try it at counters. I’m also very interested in the eyeshadows since I own one of the soft touch shadows and I love it.

I like the the highlighter has a relief pattern on it, it’s just a shame that it is a recyled one 🙁 The promo image is nice and I’d like to see what the new eye shadows are like…but really I wants moar illusion d’ombres!!

I just bought the Rose Initiale blush — it’s gorgeous!!! The perfect pink with a touch of peach blush. Check it out ladies, one of the prettiest pinks Chanel has ever come out with; too bad there’s no picture here.

The illuminating powder reminds me less of sequins and more of Cheerios. Anyone else?

Loving the nail polishes in vertigo and frenzy! Just saw they’re already on chanel.com so I guess I’ll just have to place an order now 🙂

I’m a little sad that I don’t love this and a little happy because it will give me more money for DIOR. I was looking at the powder on chanel.com it’s up already. I really just don’t need another gold powder for $85 … le sigh.

This is already available on chanel.com and at Nordstrom’s – I know it’s on the website but when I stopped by the makeup counter tonight the SA had gone home already so I couldn’t check out pieces 🙁 I’m lusting after the blush, the extrait de gloss, and a rouge coco myself 🙂

Also, I believe chanel.com has two shades exclusively for eyeshadow – black star and ebony. At least, I haven’t seen them elsewhere but they’re on chanel.com if I sort by collection.

Wow! Everything looks amazing……sigh….I want to buy everything.
Also kind of random but is the model Vanessa Paradis? Cause if it is, she looks AMAZING for her age. Heck, she looks amazing for any age.
