Clean & Clear Morning Burst Fruit Infusions Smoothing Facial Scrub Review

Clean & Clear Morning Burst Fruit Infusions Smoothing Facial Scrub
, I thought I’d write you off but you aren’t half bad.

I dislike gel exfoliators with a passion. They always include tiny beads that slip around my face but never actually scrub away anything. This results in failing to refine my skin or make it any smoother/softer.

Not cool!

That’s why I was a little skeptical of the new Clean & Clear Morning Burst Fruit Infusions Smoothing Facial Scrub.

But it surprised me!

Hey, look mom, this isn’t half bad!

Clean & Clear Morning Burst Fruit Infusions Smoothing Facial Scrub claims that it’s infused with Real Fruit Extracts and contains a formula with strawberry and yumberry seeds to gently scrub skin for a smoother, softer appearance.

I’ve expressed my skepticism about the “fruit seeds” in the past from some of Clean & Clear’s other Fruit Infusion Cleansers. And those, are actually what I dislike about these types of formulas. Gel based with little tiny beads suspended in the gel, no likey.

However, this new scrub actually seems to have tiny strawberry seeds in the mix which results in a grainy texture. This grainy texture provides light exfoliation for daily use. Drier skin types have to be very careful when exfoliating. Too much and you end up with even drier skin than you had going on. Too little and your skin looks dull and flaky. This scrub is easy enough to use daily in the shower without stripping or over drying skin.

The formula has a fruity grape-like scent that’s very pleasant. However, if you’re super sensitive to fragrance in your skin do be aware. I find the smell is quite intense and very, very sweet.

I’m cheap when it comes to AM cleansers that I use in my shower and this one is a nice cheap thrill that set me back $5 at Harmons. It’s gentle enough for most any skin type to use daily and offers an easy way to scrub away drier skin. Mind you it won’t completely eliminate super patchy dry areas but using it daily will result in a smoother surface. I wouldn’t give up my weekly exfoliator for it but as an everyday cleanser for use with or without my Clarisonic, its perfect!

Likey!

I wonder if its is not harsh for sensitive skin. Doe I need a new exofilator maybe this line of clean and clear is less harsh

Sounds very much like the facial scrub I’m currently using. Not quite the same smell (mine is apricot-scented) but still. I think I’d like this one.

The second ingredient is Sodium Laureth Sulfate. That plus the added fragrance and parabens make it a no-go for me.

I have tried this and I think for the price its great. Would not use this in place of my original scrub but when hi am low or just in a pinch I think this is good enough. It smells amazing and yes it does make skin feel soft after using

Ahaha I saw this in Target today & just had to ask, what exactly is a “yumberry?” I though Clean & Clear might have made it up just for the marketing appeal…

chinese strawberry Christine there are two types, one sweet and one slightly sour. It’s not something you’d commonly see in a regular grocery store but it’s easy enough to find at Asian fruit stands or markets/specialty shops.

I, like you, was skeptical of this product, but I gave in and tried it. I have acne prone combination skin. I use this product every morning AND every night after I use my makeup my makeup remover. The seeds exfoliate my dry rough patches and washes away the oily patches. It leaves my face smooth and not dry but not oily either. And in two weeks my acne has cleared up! My skintone has evened out and my skin is super soft now! I would recommend this product to anyone. It helps my face without irritating my skin like most exfoliants do. .
