Ole Henriksen Lemon Strip Flash Peel

Ole Henriksen Lemon Strip Flash Peel

Here’s one for my try list, the new Ole Henriksen Lemon Strip Flash Peel.

I’m on this at home facial peel kick at the moment so I’m adding this one to my part as it sounds interesting enough to try.

Take a look, tell me what you think!

Ole Henriksen Lemon Strip Flash Peel ($48) is a one-step exfoliating peel is powered by lactic, glycolic, and fruit acids.

These ingredients work to exfoliate and resurface the skin. The spa grade treatment increases cell turnover, brightens skin tone, and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a smoother, softer skin.

I’m all in.

But I tried a few things from Ole Henriksen before and wasn’t terribly impressed so a little worried about dropping a fifty on this and be disappointed.

Thoughts?

Available now at Sephora and Sephora.com

P.S. How was your weekend?

I am Danish (so is Ole Henriksen) and I´m sad to say that I have had very little luck with his products. Don´t expect a miracle. The price is too high. I also found that a lot of his products made my skin worse. Some of the ingredients are too powerful for my sensitive/dry/acne prone skin.

aw christina sorry to hear. I’ve haven’t had break outs or anything from using them but I just don’t see results :( that’s one reason I am tentative about purchasing anything new launched from the brand :-/

I’ve used a couple of their products, all worked really good for me, I currently use the cucumber toner mist in my daily routine :)

I love the Truth Serum Collagen Booster and the Ultimate Lift Eye Gel (I don’t know if it’s actually working, but I like how it makes my under eye area feel tight so that I think it’s doing something). I liked the aloe cleanser, but I prefer soaps that foam (I don’t care how bad people claim foaming products are for your skin/hair lol) and I used way too much of it at one time to justify the price. I’ve used a few of his moisturizers, but I didn’t hate or love them. The eye roller ball thing was a bust. I will definitely check this out, though, because I’ve never tried an at home peel before, although I use scrubs and exfoliators on a regular basis.

My weekend was awful. I burned myself with wax. Because well, I’m just an idiot. Even ended up at the emergencies. Since I did it myself I guess I don’t deserve any sympathy. My face could use a good peel, though ;-) It’s almost healed and underneath my burned skin is smooth new skin but I still have a few stubborn leathery bits sitting there that still have to come off.

I just started using Henriksen a couple months ago and have been pretty impressed w/the results I am seeing. I was using products from La Prairie, Sisley, La Mer, Natura Bisse and did not notice much of a difference for the price I paid! For now, I am sticking w/this brand :)
