MAC Holiday 2012 Collection Photos

Today, we celebrate the MAC Holiday 2012 Collection in photos.

I don’t have official details as of yet for the launch but I came across some photos, drooled, and decided that everyone should be babbling, drooling, and squealing with me.

MAC Holiday 2012 looks like an awe aspiring selection that had me thinking retro beauty and vintage pin up girls with a little vibe of Dita Von Teese.

I see several palettes and products I have to keep my eye on.

Take a look!

As more details become available I will surely post them but I thought images speak volumes for this collection. I’m excited. I’m guilty of accusing MAC of being a little too repetitive with some of their packaging designs but this is really a 180 for them. It’s new, refreshing, and quite unique.

I love how the lipglass and pigment sets look like vintage powder jars or even boxes of fancy chocolate yes?

I’m excited!

More info to follow as it becomes available.

Gorgeous packaging! But based on the photos, only one thing I’d consider buying. I wish one of the lip sets came with all reds.

I loooove the packaging but I’ll have to wait for some reviews and swatches. MAC has been putting out some real stinkers lately.

Yeah! I saw this a few days ago. There was a Japanese blog with some swatches! But I can’t read any of it so I can only look at the pretty pictures.

Here’s the blog I found it on

But this collection is simply to die for! I just love the cases, so pretty!

These sets are so lovely! I’ll definitely be picking up some of these items, I’ve been kinda ‘meh’ on their last few holiday collections

Darn… usually I gloss over and pass on MAC holiday collections since the quality seems lackluster, but the packaging on these is just way too cute! Though I don’t care for the leopard print, the tufting and black bow is right up my alley! Soooooooo darn cute! I may just have to buy something this year. Let’s hope the packaging is backed up by good quality. The pink brushes are cute too… /lesigh!

This is a terrible collection. Its all so pretty, I want it all! I am somehow trying to convince myself that I need it all -_-. I will probably end up getting one of those face powder clutches.

Ugh, My list of holiday wants is growing to the point where I may need to get a second job…or sell a kidney on the black market. Thanks for the photos as I have been wondering what MAC had planned for holiday. I sure hope the quality is better on these than some of the recent releases this year as have seen some poor reviews.

Have a great day Muse and thanks for keeping us addicts informed!!

Ugh, WHY have we only gotten the chunky pigment stacks these last two years?! I want them to go back to regular pigment vials. :( Otherwise, one of those e/s palettes actually looks very wearable for me.

So, so leery of MAC, but I do like the purple shades in the one eyeshadow palette. If the reviews come in well, I might check it out.

I don’t usually like MAC packaging (or pricing, it’s a bit much) but I love this collection! Will definitely be one of my all-time favorites, packaging-wise.

Love animal print. So obviously I’m 100% going to get the set of Duo fiber brushes! However, the tan tint to the bristles is kind of odd. Are the SE brushes usually comparable in terms of quality to the regular hand made ones?

Man, I wish they wouldn’t have done the whole “selling in China so now testing on animals” thing and sold out…I really would love to buy some of this stuff but it’s not on my list anymore. :-( Dang.

This is kind of “meh,” for me. A lot of the stuff looks like stuff I already have. But the packaging is to die for! I’ll probably pick up the lip sets.

I really dislike this collection. When I think of a holiday collection, I think of something that’s warm and cozy… and not pink and pastel, like this… I might even skip this collection altogether.

Looks so cute! Very boudoir! I am looooving the plush look of the compacts and those brushes….yep, like the rest of you it’ll be food vs. MAC and MAC usually wins :)
