L’Oreal The Temptress’ Blush Project Runway Super Blendable Blush Review & Photos

L’Oreal’s Project Runway
Super Blendable Blush in The Temptress’ Blush is my second favorite shade from the limited edition collection. It doesn’t have the most forgivable formula in the book but the color is so very gorgeous.

Did you pick it up!?

Take a look!

Ok, so fact, this runs a bit dry. Last year’s L’Oreal Project Runway Blushes were superior in formula to this year’s versions however, I can forgive them since they look amazing with a little TLC during application.

Your best application method is with a bushy brush. I personally like the MAC 116, I simply smile, and dab on the apple of my cheeks. Done!

The color is really unique as it’s a wine plum color that literally glows on my face. I love it! I thought it would look patchy and maybe a little too muddy but the color has a plummy glow that really compliments a Fall eye look!

It does run drier as I stated above and the texture is a little hard. However, a bushier brush does allow easy of application as it’ll kick up the color up into a nice powdery layer which you can tap off your brush and apply gently onto cheeks. Color wears well for me and I can get all day wear without it fading away so long as I wear a primer under it.

Overall, the color is too unique to pass up on and I find the formula forgivable due to this. Loved it.

I’m going to slap a Muse Approval on it.

It’s feels and looks special to me.

Well worth picking up!

I’m an NW43 and I got the queen and temptress shades since there was a BOGO special. Both of them barely showed up on me. And both of them went right back to Rite Aid… sigh… It sure looks good on the Muse, though…

I was JUST looking at this at the drugstore. Was super tempted to pick it up but I see it shows up nicely on you. Might be a bit too much for my NC20-25 skintone. What is your MAC color for reference?

  • Liz

This is pretty. It does seem hard to find a good blush with purple tones. I used to have a neutrogena blush that was a lovely lavender/ light wine colored blush. I wish I could find a similar color!

  • neutralgirl

Muse! I agree the color is pretty but it looks like chalky junk. Have u ever tried Breezy blush from Mac? Its pretty much the same color but has a nice texture and a glow. I think u would like it.

    • the Muse

I bought all four shades in this collection. I have extremely oily skin so I was pleasantly surprised to find that they lasted all day on my cheeks! yay!
