Stila Stay All Day 10-In-One HD Illuminating and Bronzer Beauty Balm With Broad Spectrum SPF 30 for Spring 2013

Stila Stay All Day 10 In One HD Illuminating and Bronzer Beauty Balm With Broad Spectrum SPF 30

Stila Stay All Day 10-In-One HD Illuminating Beauty Balm With Broad Spectrum SPF 30 and Stila Stay All Day 10-In-One HD Bronzer Beauty Balm With Broad Spectrum SPF 30 join the brand’s “Beauty Balm” line up for Spring 2013. Stila recently reformulated it’s HD Beauty Balm with an improved SPF version now they are introducing two more “beauty balms” which will be joining that launch.

Beauty Balm or Blemish Balm is commonly associated with “BB Cream” so it can be a little misleading to have it tossed around with an Illuminating and Bronzer product….if you can get passed that, these two new cream products might be something that interest you!

Products like this blow my mind as you’ll like want to apply a touch…particularly a cream highlighter but applying a little will completely defeat the purpose of the SPF that’s meant to protect your skin.

Oh the insanity.

I think I can safely skip on these as I’m not much for cream highlighters or bronzers and the price tag seems a touch high.

I’ve used the Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer for my whole face most of the time for over a year, not as a highlighter. And my guess is this is what they’re replacing it with, so I get the high spf for that use.

This price does seem kinda high, I mean if these are splendid products that’s one thing but I have to say i’m skeptical that I need splendid bronzer/highlighter creams.

I understand powder bronzers, but this confuses me. Are you supposed to apply both these products all over your face? Wouldn’t you just look muddy or really light?

I think they should be applied as you would any bronzer/highlighter. Bronzer on places that natural sunlight would hit and same for the highlighter (cheek bones, curve of nose, highbrow). The confusing aspect is the SPF 30 as indeed, you would have to apply ALL over your face for that to work. Plus the way they describe them, “smoother skin, priming” etc…it applies you should apply all over but you really should…you’d either look too muddy or too glowy with that much bronzer/highlighter on. sometimes products want to multitask too much ;D
