Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash

I loved the scent of the new Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes that’s why I’m squealing over the new Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash! Same amazing coconut-y scent but in a cleansing gel!

Slay me, I die.

This gorgeously lightweight cleansing gel smells like refreshing coconut milk and removes makeup easily and gently without over stripping skin.

I’m going to say you NEED it.

Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash ($11) is part of Pacifica’s newly launched skincare and makeup collection. Yes, Pacifica does makeup and skincare now, wicked right?

Supposedly this new cleanser contains ocean and marine extracts as well as coconut water which makes for a very gentle cleansing experience. This is a clear, runny gel consistency which creates a delicate lather. Use it on a just dampened face to remove makeup, oil, and dirt (or use it with your Clarisonic for a deeper clean). It has a refreshingly tropical coconut milk scent much like the towelettes I recently reviewed for you!

Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash Swatches

I was terribly impressed with how gentle a cleanser it was. It has a slightly moisturizing finish so skin is left soft and smooth after rinsing. My drier skin can be quite picky with cleansers so I was quite surprised at how well it worked. It didn’t overstrip nor did it dry my skin out and give it that too tight feeling after cleansing. It removed my makeup easily and left my skin feeling nicely hydrated after use.

Plus did I mentioned that incredible scent?

Mmmmm! Coconuts!

I’d like to think you NEED it.

This one is worth a pick up.

It’s available now at Target, Target.com, or find it and all the newest Pacifica offerings at www.pacificaperfume.com

Tried it?

Would love to hear your thoughts!

The wipes are amazing. I went out and bought them the day after you wrote the review. I cannot stop smelling them 🙂

Ugh this always happens to me, I literally had this in my cart when I got the wipes but ended up not getting it in the end 🙁 figured I already had a nice cheapie morning cleanser why would I need another. FML

So did this remove makeup well? I just ordered some Alba wash, but I love coconut so would want to give this a try too!

  • JoElla

Not sure if everyone knows this but, if you have a Target Red Card (credit or debit) you get free shipping on goodies.

This sounds like it would be a great morning cleanser, and after you rave Muse, I really want this!

I have normal/combination skin, and I’m curious about this. Unfortunately, every cleanser I’ve tried lately seems to make my skin feel a little tight, even Cetaphil. I was going to try Fresh’s Soy Cleanser, but this is quite a bit cheaper. Thoughts or recommendations?

I received the good karma take me there (I think that’s it) skincare set yesterday. I second the awesomeness of this cleanser 🙂 smells happy, didn’t makke my (oily) skin feel tight, and it definitely removed makeup that my initial water-scrubby wipedown missed. And the dreamy youth moisturizer ain’t half bad, either 😉 I kept touching my face all day, it felt so soft.

Oh yes, THIS! I had bought the little skincare minis set they had at Target and immediately after trying this ordered two full-size bottles directly from Pacifica, LOL. I love my current skincare routine but it’s nice to mix it up a bit with something that smells so nummy every once in a while 🙂

I can’t find this at my local target – le sigh. So I will check when I’m out of town this weekend.

Hey muse! I am looking for a new daily cleanser…. I need something.fairly gentle as I sometimes tend to over exfoliate . I was kinda looking at first aid beauty and their gentle face cleanser. Have you tried it? Will probably get that or this one….unless you have any other suggestions. Thanks!

    • the Muse

hey carrie I haven’t really explored first aid all that much (do like their radiance pads though). It’s difficult for me to recommend something gentle, because seriously my skin is like bulletproof it rarely gives me issues….I do know a friend of mine is quite sensitive and adores the first aid line. Hope this helps a little?!

      • carrie

It does help! Like I said I’ve just gone a little overboard lately trying to get rid of the dryness! Also started doing a glycolic acid peel once a week which I tolerate well, I think its just the hardcore scrubs that are doing me in. A lot of people that reviewed it online said it really helps with redness and doesn’t dry your skin out. Plus it seems like they are a lot less expensive than a lot of brands. Do you use the philosophy serum? Kinda want to give it a try. I use tarte marajuca oil at night and have been loving it but I need serum ideas. Lol

        • the Muse

don’t…! I do that too but don’t. Over exfoliating=BAD! do it once a week only. Dry some hydrating sheet masks they are a GOD sent like my beauty diary, my scheming etc…! I heard the same and I agree their prices are very affordable! and I hear they have good moisture to their products as well. I do, well, not at the moment, but deeper in the Winter I do. It’s quite good for night use. I use the entire Miracle Worker regime in the evening including the Philosophy Hope Serum and the Brightener. marajuca oil def good for moisture ;-D and plenty of vitamin c too!

          • carrie

I will definitely get the hope serum. Have you ever tried their c booster powder? I wonder if it actually works or is worth it…

          • the Muse

don’t bother, tried it, used the entire bottle, never did anything for me :-/ Ya never know, different strokes for different skin types, but honestly I never saw a different with it! :-/ try the brightener, best results I’ve had!

          • carrie

Do you use the brightener all over or just spot treat?

          • the Muse

all of my face prior to moisturizer. It brightens as well as fades dark spots 😀 but you have to be diligent with and and consistent as dark spots will return and plenty of SPF of course 🙂

          • carrie

Im pretty good about my beauty routine at night…and because the one bb cream as well as the LM tinted moisturizer only have spf 25, I usually apply an spf 50 sunscreen under it. Didn’t do that for a long time and now my skin is paying the price. But NO MORE! lol

          • carrie

Well…over the weekend I ended up getting the hope serum AND the miracle worker pads. And the nars pressed powder. I am loving those retinol pads. I swear there is a difference in my skin tone and texture after just a couple of days!

          • the Muse

w0000000000000000t! so happy to hear it 😀 I swear to the gods that those miracle worker pads do all kinds of good stuff for my skin ;D

  • carrie

I believe it! Like I said, I am actually seeing a bit of a difference after like 3 days!

Tried the Sea Foam face wash with my Clairsonic and followed with the Dreamy Youth moisturizer. I’m in love! I have tried everything – spared no expense – and have never found a cleanser and moisturizer combo that I like as much as this. I am 54 years old with pretty normal skin and few wrinkles. I’m hooked.
