Sonia Kashuk Kiss on the Cheek Lip and Cheek Palette Review & Swatches

Sonia Kashuk Kiss on the Cheek Lip Cheek

Sonia Kashuk Kiss on the Cheek Lip and Cheek Palette provides a kiss of color on cheeks for Spring with an emollient soft blushing formula that can be used on cheeks and lips!

This quad of delightful colors is quite like having your own personal arsenal of Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks but at a fraction of the cost.

Take a peek!

Sonia Kashuk Kiss on the Cheek Lip and Cheek Spring 2013

This slick black palette contains four shades of gel blush for cheeks and lips that can be mixed and match to flush cheeks with a whisper of color. The arrival of this limited edition palette is just in time for Spring and Summer looks as the lightweight texture of the blushes is the perfect way to rev up your look for the warmer weather and shed your drab Winter shades for a little color!

The best part is the $14.99 price tag and the four shades of pink, coral, and berry shaded blushes! The palette contains generously sized blush wells along with a full size mirror for application. This is kinda my new travel companion at the moment! Easy to take with you on a little weekend holiday especially if you’re heading to a warm, tropical environment!

The blushes all have excellent pigmentation with a soft, dewy finish. They are comparable to Bobbi’s Pot Rouge but they have a more emollient texture. The formula isn’t creamy and relies more on a gel-like consistency which makes them a little challenging to blend out so you need a little TLC to get them onto cheeks correctly. I find dotting a small amount on the apples of my cheeks and blending with the heal of my palm helps to warm things up and get the shade blended out to a pretty flushed appearance. Sounds weird I know but they need a little tugging to get into place correctly. I typically dislike dewy finish blushes but these give skin a nice glow and sheen and look very natural when in places as if you just stepped in from a cold Winter’s night.

I didn’t like them on my lips as the formula was a tad too heavy however, used with clear gloss on top they are very wearable.

If you enjoy potted rouge products I’m positive this delightful palette will find its way into your heart. It’s a value at $15 for four generously sized blushes! The formula is a little tricky to use but is well worth the hassle as the glowing cheeks it provides is priceless!

This looks exactly like what I’ve been hunting for! I’ve been trying to find a dup for the blush/lip color that comes in the cap of SKIN79′s Oriental Gold BB Cream, because that thing is just too big to haul around. I will be off to Target today to check this out!

Well, I bought this tonight for a trip. The pans are huge! I love the large mirror inside, too. I picked up another ELF Small Stipple Brush to go with. I think I need a back-up too! Thank you, dear Muse!!!

Muse, someone else wrote in a comment somewhere that like the Tarte blushes, there’s holes in the back for us to remove and refill the pans. Is that true? If so I’m going back to Target right away to buy it!

I thought that might be the case since you didn’t mention it but it’s good to get the confirmation. Thank you! Well, at least now I can put aside that money for another beauty product…:)

sorry kay :( hate to disappoint…you may be able to jar a small knife under the wells? and pop them out? Not sure I didn’t attempt it as the palette is too pretty to much with.

To the cuties who have this palette, what’s the wear time on these blushes?

They’re not that great (lasting power wise) if you aren’t planning on setting them with a powder of similar shade. But it’s a quick way to give your cheeks and lips some color on the go. I wouldn’t mind having to whip this out of my purse as often as I have to because every time I take it out I’m in love with it! lol

In case anyone sees this post in time – just happened to pick this palette up today at my local Target for half price ($7.48) – they also had some other sets on sale, such as a 4 pan eye shadow set, a hair brush set, and a nail art set.
