Buxom Hot Escapes Bronzer

Buxom Hot Escapes Bronzer is coming to a theater near you kids (along with Evil Dead, holler!). This $28 dollar bronzer infuses skin with a natural looking, sun kissed glow and ps…it smells all kinds of stupid good! Seriously, like a hot tropical island!

Do like!

Yup, you read that correctly! Buxom Hot Escapes Bronzer is scented like tanning oil! It has this creamy coconut tropical island scent going on that’s positively addicting. At first I thought, “Hey, am I dreaming or does this stuff smell like tanning oil?” to which my best friend Jai replied, “Oh that’s totally beach babe smelling…” I dunno what a beach babe smells like but I know tanning oil when I smell and this indeed has the scent of it! I thought it was freaking awesome but if you’re sensitive to fragrance in your skin you might not dig it! No worries though, once applied, it disappears! It actually contains coconut oil skin emoillient which gives it that toasty coconut scent!

This has a creamy smooth texture and gives skin a very subtle, luminous finish. Considering it swatches ALL kinds of pigmented I was terribly impressed that it applied more of a subtle sunny glow. Coverage is buildable so you can go sheer or you can go bold with a few strokes. It’s available,e in two shades for a golden finish or a more deeper bronze. The powder has a cute sand and wave embossing giving it a further tropical vibe.

Although a powder it applies more like a cream so it doesn’t cling to flakier areas or drier skin nor does it accentuate raised skin, acne scarring, or pores. It has a very smooth, fuss-free finish that’s naturally sunny but not faux tan looking.

I’m not a bronzer babe but if I were I’d go all out on Buxom Hot Escapes Bronzer. Seems to me it could be a keeper.

P.S. Totally use it on your eyes. I did and it looks AWESOME!

It’s available exclusively at Sephora and Sephora.com

Ok, I’m not so much commenting on the bronzer – but Evil Dead. I want to see this so badly, but no one wants to go with me 🙁 Maybe I can see if my bro will go with me – he loves all the evil dead/Bruce Campbell movies. I myself haven’t seen them (I know, I know blasphemy), but saw the trailers for this one and was all like ewww, and eek (covers eyes), I have to see this!

I’m going tonight Michelle, you’re in New York you’re welcome to tag along with us hehe 😀 I love BC too. GASP! you haven’t?! 🙂 bad reviews on it so far but I don’t care, totally need to see the remake ;D

Bruce Campbell is the man haha. All this talk of Evil Dead made me want to rewatch Army of Darkness, which I did last night (blasphemy maybe but I prefer AoD, I like cheese more than horror). I just want AoD2 which I know Bruce is down for too…makes me want it even more knowing it’s possible! I wonder if Ash would still work at S-Mart now…maybe he is the district manager haha.

      This is my boomstick! Hehe.

Ooooh… I *need* to swatch Tahiti! It doesn’t seem to have the slightest hint of orange,

Oh, I’m so getting one on my next trip to Sephora! Question, does the tropical scent come naturally from the oil, or is it a synthetic scent? I am a little sensitive to scents in my skin care, and I also don’t understand why scents need to be put in products. But, if its just from the natural oils then I can’t see it being a problem. I also have very dry skin, so great that its like a cream and doesn’t cling! Great review, thanks!

i’m not really sure celine could be either or it smells natural but they might put a little fragrance in it, I don’t have an ingred list so can’t confirm. sorry lovie!

This looks gorg! I’m more of a matte bronzer gal, but this is tempting. I always use bronzer on my eyes too, when it’s a shimmery one. You’re right, it does look great as eyeshadow.
