Lavshuca Dress Change Rouge Review & Swatches

Lavshuca Dress Change Rouge

Released Winter 2012 the Lavshuca Dress Change Rouge was an intriguing lipgloss housed in what appears to be an IV bag, hells yes, I’m thinking of Aidan sinking his teeth into a blood bag. Oh you sexy thing. Actually anyone see that episode a few weeks ago with Sam Witwer sans his shirt? Dude, looked like he had man boobs, maybe it was the camera angle but I remember being terribly upset that his bosom was bigger than my own.

Sam also happened to blow my “he’s a cute jock” theory completely out of the water recently when he appeared in Tabletop. Man boobs, Tabletop? Has hell frozen over without my permission?

Anyway………about that Lavshuca Dress Change Rouge.

Lavshuca Dress Change Rouge is a different launch for the brand as it comes in a pouch packaging, that exactly what you’d associate with a lipgloss! BUT honestly, swear to the makeup gods, pouch packaging is where it is at. EVERYONE should embrace this packaging for their lipgloss!

It literally allows you to use every single drop of the gloss because you can squeeze the contents towards the top of the spout. AMAZINGS!

Yeah, ok I was a little excited there but seriously I think the packaging kinda rocks. It comes in five shades and is a high shine sheerer gloss with macadamia nut oil to give it a moisturizing feel on lips. Unfortunately rouge is too strong a word as the gloss is fairly transparent on lips and offers intense shine but no real color. It applies with a sponge tip applicator which saturates well with product and a simple squeeze of the “bag” will allow you to saturated it even further should you like!

It’s a little bulky to store but I gotta say Lavshuca Dress Change Rouge is a must have. Great formula, terrific shine, and an innovative packaging that makes it easy to use every single last drop of your gloss.

P.S. It’s a little hard to be funny and blog beauty today but I’m doing my best! Not only with all of what is happening with Boston but one of my client’s shared with me today his wife had very little time to live. He was concerned how he should handle his commercial policy as he’d be returning with her to India and his story has me sitting here crying my eyes out. Sigh….

Life is too short.

Boston you’re in my prayers and everyone else facing some dilemma today my heart is with you be your stress big or small!

Remember to find something to laugh about.

This whole Boston thing is scary. I’l all the way out near Springfield, but a couple professors from my college that live out near Watertown couldn’t make it because SWAT teams aren’t letting people out of their houses. I have friends that go to school in Boston and their colleges are on lockdown or being evacuated. MIT is completely shut down after the shootout last night with the suspects.

    • 4/19/13 11:54 the Muse:

jeez…so scary. I’m glad you further away from it but still scary none the less :( be very safe Lauren.

*hugs* I am so sorry to hear about your client.

I don’t know if it helps, but you and your blog helped me get through a rough day. My cousin and her husband were at the Boston Marathon, and I had a long day of too many silent hours not knowing if they were hurt, or even alive.

I spent hours looking through your blog as well as another beauty blog I love trying to keep from going insane.

Happily, after the cell lines calmed down my cousin was finally able to post on Facebook and let us know she and her husband (as well as the crew of runners she was there to support) had all made it out unharmed other then some temporary hearing loss.

So THANK YOU for keeping your blog going this week. It helped me (and others) escape the horror of this week.

I had my own disaster today, and about the time the huge kitchen leak was being worked on, they announced suspect in custody. I have family and friend in mass and between that and the texas news and conspiracy theories, i was crying today. My kitchen will be back to functioning in a week or 2 and time will heal all wounds.
