Revlon takes us back to our mascara roots with a simple yet bushy brush applicator with their new Lash Potion Mascara. Revlon Lash Potion Mascara

Revlon Lash Potion Volume & Length Mascara

I love the idea that it not only lengthens my lashes but also treats them to a strengthening formula loaded with good for my lashes ingredients.

The formula is lightweight so it doesn’t leave lashes stiff or crunchy and washes away easily but doesn’t smudge or flake through the wear. My lashes are full already but this is a my lash but better look. It gives some fairly great length while giving my lashes a fuller yet softer appearance. It’s rare that I find a mascara that offers both volume and length but Lash Potion seems to perform several great tricks at once.

Revlon Lash Potion Mascara Before After

Cast a spell on your lashes starting May 1st when Revlon Lash Potion Mascara launches at drugstores nationwide.

Loves it.

Will def pick this up. I love Revlon’s Grow Luscious mascara. And it’s not LE!!! 😉

  • 4/16/13 10:55 Allison:

Saw this at HEB in Austin, TX yesterday! I like it without even trying it just for the bottle :)

  • 4/16/13 11:39 Michelle:

I want this for the pretty packaging :) But I really do need another mascara too.

am not fond of this american mascaras after misha 4d mascara and tony moly cat wink. they work on sparse thin lashes like mine. the formulas here make me clump, and “chip” is that how u say? but his one looks cute with the magical packaging

  • 4/16/13 12:44 Arielle:

I love the packaging but it was terrible for me. At the end of the day I would have flakes and a mascara line on my brow bone. Glad it worked for you, though!

  • 4/16/13 13:25 Alexis:

Oh, awesome! Grow Luscious has become the mascara to which I compare all others. I’m definitely excited to try this one.

  • 4/16/13 15:35 Cindy Ramirez:

Ohhhh is that what all the “cast a spell” stuff on their twitter account was all about? Lulz! I’ll get it for the packaging alone. Looks like this might make a great companion mascara.

  • 4/16/13 16:25 amy:

The brush looks great, very similar to L’Oreal Voluminous. It’s been a while since I tried a Revlon mascara, although I’ve always had positive results with them. I always forget they even make mascara, as I never see any advertising, reviews, etc. Hopefully, with the packaging, more people will pay attention to the product. Revlon mascara is so underrated, IMO.

I bought this at Rite Aid a few days ago. The pretty packaging and the word NEW suckered me in. Haven’t tried it yet, but excited to. Revlon needs a winner mascara, maybe this’ll be it! :)

This looks great on you. Could you possibly tell me whether this smudges? I found the original grow luscious smudged on me under my eyes.

    • 4/17/13 7:27 the Muse:

thanks heather! i mentioned about smudging/flakes in the review. hope this helps!

  • 4/17/13 9:45 Paige Wilkerson:

  • 4/17/13 9:57 Cha:

  • 4/17/13 13:13 Tammie:

    • 5/22/13 13:21 the Muse:

aw happy to hear it lucia! enjoy wear it health!

  • 5/25/13 2:12 Kimberly:

I just did a review on my blog as well. I definitely agree with you about being a my lash but better look — didn’t think of it that way. I guess it’s because I want BAMM! in your face lashes lol. I felt like this was pretty lengthening, but I had trouble with my lashes falling over at the tips. Have you noticed that at all?

    • 6/10/13 16:20 the Muse:

no thank god kimberly, are your lashes delicate? could potentially snap them off with mascara usage if you have more fragile lashes.

  • 5/25/13 15:53 Kathy Hudson:

I am so ready to try this! I’m going to get it this weekend! It’s so helpful to get someone else’s opinion that has actually tried it.

  • 6/4/13 2:19 Catalina:

Did it flake?? I’ve had major problems with all of revlon a new mascaras flaking.

    • 6/4/13 9:10 the Muse:

      nope no flaking :)

      • 6/5/13 9:54 Catalina:

Wow ! No flaking? I DEFINETLEY give it a try then. I use maybelline classic volume which is awesome! But maybelline tests on animals :( so I decided to move on to revlon.

  • 7/19/13 19:08 Channy_71:

I thought The Falsies by Maybelline was da bomb but Lash Potion is awesome-er! I already have decent lashes or so I’m told but Lash Potion just take my lashes to another level. The brush separates lashes beautifully, this stuff does not clump or flake, luv luv luv! The product actually does as advertise, it’s my new fave!
