Korres Greek Yoghurt Nourishing Lip Cooler Review & Swatches
Korres Greek Yoghurt Nourishing Lip Cooler is an interesting lip treatment, lipgloss, tinted lip balm, lip exfoliater? Yeah, I’m still trying to figure out what it is at this point.
Korres totes this as a cooling lip treatment which actually buffs away dry skin while hydrating lips.
Take a look!
Ok, so I have to admit Korres Greek Yoghurt Nourishing Lip Cooler is one of the oddest and unique lip products I’ve come across recently.
First of all this comes with a sponge tip applicator but that applicator has a built in rollerball. Is that like the most fabulous thing ever? The rollerball has a cool, refreshing feel on lips.
So here’s the deal….this is just an odd product and it has so much going on that in the end that’s what kills the deal. Sometimes TOO much is well, too much. And that’s the case with this product. It just wants to be too many things at one time and that kinda makes it disappointing in the end. If it succeeded at the many tasks it wanted to complete it would be a win but it takes on several different functions and never really succeeds at any of them.
First off it’s a tinted lip balm of sorts….the texture feels like a velvety liquid lip cream of sorts but it is clumpy so you need to go over it again and again with the applicator or a finger to get it to look smooth. It’s thinner and has a very, very subtle hint of tint. I purchased two shades and both were very sheer. I have to admit I find it silly they offer it in four shades, what’s the point when it’s so sheer? It does have a faint dandelion type taste?! It’s an odd flavor but it disappears quick enough.
Secondly, it’s a lip treatment of sorts or a balm-like product. Once on lips it feels not necessarily moisturizing but it feels like a balm of sorts. Lips do feel soft with it on but honestly, I have tons of products in my arsenal that offer more moisture.
Now the weird part…it has a grainy texture so as you apply it kinda sorta exfoliates your lips. This is where things get a little weird as if you aren’t careful those grains show up on your lips so if you’re wearing it as a lip balm/lip product, well, it looks strange. I find applying it with the applicator and smoothing my finger over my lips after gives it an even finish.
This supposedly is made with shea and cocoa seed butter, jojoba, soybean oils and greek yoghurt concentrate which is supposedly an excellent source of minerals and vitamins.

I think in the end I was just confused….
One trick ponies are boring yes but having a product that performs too many things at one time things can and will go wrong. In this case, I didn’t feel like the product made much sense. It would have been easier if they simply made it in a single shade and marketed it as a lip exfoliater. Creating tinted shades that you can’t really wear comfortably out of the house seems so odd to me….
In the end, I thought this was an ok way to get my drier lips soft and supple again. But you’re probably better off simply purchasing specific products to address your needs. A lip exfoliater to scrub flaky areas away and a lip balm is a better option!
I just did a single photo with Raspberry above because both colors look the same on
