Perfekt Skin Perfection CC Creme for Fall 2013

Perfekt Skin Perfection CC Creme

Perfekt Skin Perfection CC Creme is a new creamy compact CC Cream launching for Fall. I’m not sure how I feel about compact CC Creams in all honesty but this did catch my eye while browsing Sephora….!

Take a peek!

Perfekt Skin Perfection CC Creme ($42) is a gel color correcting CC Cream formula that acts as a foundation, skin and color corrector, powder, and moisturizer all in one. It protects skin with an SPF 30 and provides natural, buildable coverage while Hyaluronic Microspheres hydrate skin and soften the appearance of pores and fine lines and wrinkles. The formula is also infused with Vitamin C and E to even out skin tone.

It sounds VERY promising!

I just dislike cream to powder formulas as they feel a bit heavier on my skin and also have a knack for laying on top of my patchier, drier areas….!

This does sound rather promising though!

It’s available in four shades at Sephora and Sephora.com

Korean brands have a lot of compact cc creams which are great, but knowing that American versions are always lacking compared to Korean brands, I wouldn’t hold my breath for this one.

yes I’ve reviewed a few but many are also cushion types which gives them a far creamy feel and not the cream to powder formula this seems to have :-/

I actually really want to try this! Not sure I would like it if I did, because it does have some disadvantages like you said, but still, a very interesting product indeed!

Oh, and I love the packaging by the way. Kind of reminds me of Bliss for some reason. Maybe the colors?

What is it about the word “gel” that always makes me want to try things? Slap that word on just about any makeup or skincare product and I’ll surely fork over my money for it!! LOL

Hi Muse. If you’re really interested in trying a compact version CC cream, I HIGHLY recommend the Amore Pacific Cushion Compact if you haven’t already tried it. Like you, I have dry skin but unlike you, I have large pores on my nose and cheeks. I have struggled with foundation of every type, BB creams, CC creams, you name it. All of them settle in my pores at some point, even with primer. The Amore Pacific did not. It is a little tricky with dry skin and I had to experiment a little with my moisturizer to find what worked best under it. But I found that if I used a good hydrating moisturizer and didn’t wait to long to apply the Amore Pacific, it went on beautifully and lasted a really long time. And I didn’t have to use primer with it.

I thought the Perfekt CC Cream w/ SPF 30 worked great for me. It matched well and gave me great coverage without looking cakey at all so I’m not sure what the gripes are about.
Deb just admitted the Amore Pacific wasn’t great until she foudn the right moisturizer for it but I don’t want to change my moisturizer for my makeup or I’ll probably need more of the makeup!
I like this Perfekt CC and plan to keep it in my rotation.
    Just my thoughts.

Hi Muse! I was getting lost in my favorite store -Henri Bendel- while visiting New York and saw the new cc creme compact! After the rep applied it to my face I was sold! I haven’t found a compact that I have liked yet… Dr. Jart melted, laura mercier is a little too hard and I found this to be right in the middle! I also love the vitamin C and Aloe for my dry skin.
