They had these last year too… Too cute to pass up, and the purple is actually opaque too. I’m a nail girl though.

Glow in the dark! Eek! WTB!

On a side note, I love when I google random makeup products to find a name of a product or a quick review (i.e. Milani crystal lipgloss) and your stuff comes up! Teehee <3

I just want to shake Jim Butcher and tell him, “quit LARPing and write the book!! I gotta know what happens next!” I’ve been stalking amazon to see if the pre-order has popped up yet, no go and the last time I checked his site-nothing there either.

Ah, but that grave is filled in and Harry’s is still open.. thank the stars. Still, it’s very cool, hut it would be neat if she could make it look like an open grave without digging a giant & dangerous hole in her lawn.

As for the next Dresden book, I don’t expect anything until the Spring since he’s not just working on that but his new steampunk novel. Once a year is ok for me. I’d rather he not rush and as long as he isn’t taking years to write each book (hint, hint GRRM), it’s all good.

The Dresden books come out around every March/April right? It just gives us something to look forward to. ;-)

Have you read his other series, The Codex Alera? I really liked that one too, but I have a thing for elementals and elemental magic. If you like books that get into military strategy, like the Deed of Paksenarrion books by Moon, I recommend the Alera books.

I also think the Keeper’s Trilogy by Tanya Huff is very good and kind of in the same vein as Dresden. I like most of what Huff writes and that she bases all her novels in Canada (I used to live in Buffalo, NY).

am I delirious or didn’t one or two come out in October/Nov? I haven’t…! it was the military aspect that put me off! But the Keeper Trilogy looks promising thanks for the rec…!

I read somewhere that the next book, Skin Game, might be out in Dec, so YAY! I could swear they’ve all come out in the Spring, but my memory gets worse as I get older. ;-)

You aren’t going crazy, they DID used to come out in the spring. I would relax with it after my finals were finished, something to look forward to once the semester was over. then Ghost Town was in the summer, then Cold Days came out in the winter. As much as I hate the wait, a fantastic book is worth waiting for instead of it hastily thrown together that sucks.
