Laura Geller Spackle Supercharged Fortified Under Make-Up Primer

My skin is dull, dry, and looking old this week so thank the primer gods for Laura Geller Spackle Supercharged Fortified Under Make-Up Primer Roller ($32). Lack of sleep, airplane air, and just the changing of the seasons has my skin in havoc! Ugh…! My complexion is so lackluster and terribly dry at the moment so I’m def in need of pampering with plenty of priming so my skin is prepared for makeup well.

I recently started using Laura Geller Spackle Supercharged Fortified Under Make-Up Primer Roller and loves this stuff.

Take a peek!

Laura Geller Spackle Supercharged Fortified Under Make-Up Primer Roller is basically Laura’s regular Spackle formula but boosted up with soothing botanicals and age-fighting antioxidants as well as Polyphenol-rich Wine Extract and Resveratrol, plus Aloe, Beet Root, Centella Asiatica and White Tea Extracts.

It’s Spackle on crack.

I’ve always been a fond fan of Spackle and it’s probably one of the first primers I started using (prior to my awful experience with Smashbox Photo Finish). For me it was an eye opener because Spackle was kinda the only moisturizing primer on the market for a long, long time…! Silicone primers weren’t exactly plentiful but they were the most popular primer choice and my drier skin just disagreed completely. So upon discovering Spackle I believe angels sung a little ditty in joy!

I admit I dislike the roller application with this only because it tends to get messy so you need to clean off said roller prior to putting the cap back on (otherwise it causes a mess). But outside of that this is one of the more hydrating primers I have in my stash and when you’re skin is just feeling dehydrated and your makeup doesn’t want to wear flawlessly you’ll be reaching for this baby.

It absorbs in a snap and leaves skin cool, refreshed, and supple. Adding plenty of fast absorbing moisture that hydrates and keeps skin smooth and soft through the wear and allows for foundation and powders to apply easily and remain flawless. For some I think the formula might prove too hydrating but if you have aging skin that needs more moisture you’ll adore this one.

If you love Spackle already and want to take the next step Spackle Supercharged Fortified Under Make-Up Primer is definitely the way to go!

Now if they would just add SPF….next time maybe!

It’s available today for 30% off at LauraGeller.com or at Laura Geller stores and at QVC.com

Hi Muse! I’m all over the hydrating, good for older skin thing. I broke with Laura Geller years ago for no particular reason other than she started to load everything with too much shimmer and glitter. However, spackle was one of my first primers also and I remember liking it. This intrigues me because of the roller. I like gimmicks, what can I say :). One question for you: what’s your opinion on how this would work with large pores? I know you don’t suffer from that (lucky you!) but I have to make sure my primers will fill or blur pores. Thanks.

hey deb agreed…! I love the shimmer don’t get me wrong 😀 but yeah, too much of a good thing…! I find moisturizing primers never really do a great job with concealing pores/finer lines. That’s really a job for silicone primers…have you ever tried clarins instant smooth? that’s ideal for larger pores/fine lines. Hope this works! P.S. The roller is kinda great for a facial massage as you apply ;-D firm up skin a bit!

Hi Muse, I have the Clarins instant smooth and the Beauty Flash Balm. Truth be told, I have way too many primers to use up before they expire. I just got distracted by the roller application. I thought it would save me from having yet one more product on my hands to wash off. I apply primers and liquids with my fingers; I can’t seem to master proper application of foundations with brushes. Thanks for the quick feedback!

    Hi Muse,
Would this primer be OK for oily skin? I know that the LG spackles are oil-free. I am looking for something that will help hold makeup in 40’C heat.
    Thanks
