Dior Pink Fantasy Addict Lipgloss

Dior Pink Fantasy (776) Addict Gloss ($29.50) is one of two limited edition shades that was released with the Dior Golden Winter Holiday 2013 Color Collection.

Dior Pink Fantasy Addict Gloss kinda reminds me of the Majolica Majorca Rouge Majex Lipglosses I recently reviewed from the Majolica Majorca Pure Play Winter/Holiday 2013 Collection. This shade gives off that Snow White feel with lips as red as a rose and skin as white as snow. It’s unusual shade for the Holidays but still a festive one.

Take a look!

Dior Pink Fantasy Addict Gloss is a bright pink raspberry shade with both gold and pink shimmer. The formula is transparent at first application but with two to three layers in place the shade deepens and has plenty of pigment to give an opaque finish. This particularly Dior Addict Gloss is a lot slicker than the regular range and also has a bit of a thinner formula. It’s possibly the glossiest Addict Gloss I own. I loved the texture as it is lightweight and doesn’t have a thicker or stickier texture but the lack of tackiness and stickiness means the wear time is fairly short so you’re looking at two hours tops before you’ll need to reapply.

If you’re ok with the shorter wear the actual color is stunning! It has a certain pop! I think too many times we rely on the age old red lip for Holiday lips so Pink Fantasy kinda takes us outside that realm and gives us a cooler, Wintery pink lip look that’s very flattering.

I really love the shade. Little disappointed in the wear time but the formula is lovely none the less with a beautifully shiny finish and plenty of color.

I own several Dior addict glosses and I find them too “goopy.” But since you write that the formulation on this one is lighter, I may try it.

Love your website by the way. I’ve purchased a couple of items based on your recommendation. Great job, dear Muse.

aw thank you susannah! warning it is thinner but still has the goopiness going on! You have to kinda go over it a few times with the brush. very flattered by the way 🙂 TGIF!
