Sleek Makeup CalifornIA Blush by 3 Review & Swatches
Sleek Makeup CalifornIA Blush by 3 is one of two new blush trios compacts launching for Spring 2014 from our friends at Sleek. Originally when I posted about these new Blush by 3 Palettes my press release had stated they would be powder but I’m quite happy to report that the Sleek Makeup CalifornIA Blush by 3 actually contains three creamy shades of beautiful blush.
Yes, please, perfect for Spring me thinks!
I already own and love quite a few Sleek Makeup Blush by 3 Palettes but I’m delighted that this new shade Californ.I.A is actually filled with three cream blushes. Now far be it for me to rave creams as they tend to wear very short on me but this little palette is worthy of the long haul! The creamy emollient yet thinner consistency blushes apply like an absolute dream and blend out super easily. They start off quite dewy but dry down to a satin finish with a luminous glow and a seamless, flawless, natural look. I could be in love peeps. The wear time is a solid eight hours on my cheeks without a hiccup! Dare I say I like these even more than my powder Blush By 3s!? Is that even ok to admit?
OC, the Surf, Newport Peach
The shades in the palette consist of Newport Peach, the Surf, and OC each of which can be used together or individually to create endless looks. The Surf can act as more of a highlighter as it has a beautiful glow that lights cheeks up with just a dash of color and luminosity. Newport Peach and OC are the two more pigmented shades that can be applied as a sheer wash of color or built up for a deeper more dramatic pop of color.
Newport Peach on cheeks
No matter how you apply and blend them these shades have lasting power and add a truly gorgeous blast of colors on cheeks and fast.
Yes, you DO need this palette.
If you’re a cream blush girl you’ll adore it.
And if you aren’t? Promise, you’ll love it too!
