Clarins Pink Orchid Joli Rouge Lipstick Review & Swatches
Clarins Pink Orchid Joli Rouge Lipstick ($26) is one of three new shades launched with the limited edition Clarins Opalescence Spring 2014 Collection.
This is a sheer rosy MLBB (my lips but better) shade of pink perfect for Spring lip looks!
Everyone should have at least one shade of Clarins Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick in their collection (or just as many as you can possibly get your hands on). This delightfully lightweight and super shiny lipstick provides a lovely hint of color along with a highly shine finish that makes it part lipstick, part weightless gloss.
Pink Orchid is a brand new shade that launched with the Spring Collection. This has a rosy pink color in the tube but has elements of a touch of coral as well. The color isn’t fully opaque but builds to a nice opaque finish. Possibly the best part of the Joli Rouge formula is how highly glossy it looks on lips. The formula has a slick, easy glide across lips without tugging or dragging plus it hydrates nicely through the wear. It does have a fruity, perfume-y taste and flavor which I find pleasant but might be off putting for sensitive users.
If you’ve never used Clarins Joli Rouge I’d say Pink Orchid or any of the new Spring 2014 shades are a good place to start. These are the perfect lightweight shiny lipstick for the warmer weather ahead!
