Guerlain Lingerie De Peau BB Cream Review & Swatches

Guerlain Lingerie de Peau BB Beauty Booster Makeup

Guerlain Lingerie de Peau BB Beauty Booster Makeup aka Guerlain Lingerie De Peau BB Cream ($52) launched some months ago in a Light and Medium shade. I purchased it when it first came out because I was excited about a Guerlain BB Cream to say the least. At the time I purchased it Medium as I knew Guerlain’s products ran quite light but be warned the Medium shade is quite dark and will work on medium and darker skin tones. If you have fair, light, or medium fair skin go with the Light shade for the best results.

Take a look!

Guerlain Lingerie De Peau BB Cream is marked as a perfector with an SPF 30 for protecting skin. It promises moisture, color correcting benefits, and a lightweight finish with a bio-fusion micro-mesh cocktail of linen and silk fibers that promises a second-skin finish. The formula contains hyaluronic acid as well to not only moisturize skin but help to retain that moisture.

I actually wouldn’t call it highly moisturizing as it dries down to a near matte finish but it isn’t a finish that clings to my drier area and it doesn’t dry out my skin either. A rich, creamy traditional BB Cream formula which actually provides medium coverage! Only a small amount is needed to even out skin tone, brighten, and perfect it. I tried it in both Medium and Light, I actually ran completely through my Light version so I only swatched the medium for you below.

Guerlain Lingerie De Peau BB Cream

I find with or without primer the wear time is excellent. It wears for a solid seven hours without fading and providing a very natural. second skin finish. It doesn’t look like makeup, it doesn’t wear like makeup, it’s very breathable and natural with a truly long wear. I don’t feel it becomes shiny or oily as the day progresses yet the matte finish feels very comfortable on my drier skin. It eases dullness, brightens, and creates a more uniformed skin tone for me with a very polished, almost airbrushed finish.

Yes, it’s a bit expensive, but Guerlain Lingerie De Peau BB Cream is an excellent pick up and on par with Diorsnow BB Cream which is one of favorite higher end BB Creams.

So glad you reviewed this! I’ve been using this in the light shade for the past few months and so far I’m loving it. I wish the price could be cheaper though but it’s Guerlain. Sigh.

This looks like a nice product. Just purchases the BB cream from Yves Saint Laurent and its nice. I wonder if Sephora will sell this product online?

Knowing that you have dry skin and that it was hydrating enough for you and with review online saying it was better than dior snow I bought this during the sephora 15% but was disappointed. It felt very light and the coverage was good however no matter how little I smooth on, it felt masky and not skin-like. However it funny because I feel it looks better at the end of the day when my face is oily
