Perricone MD No Blush Blush Review & Swatches

Perricone MD No Blush Blush Summer 2014

Perricone MD No Blush Blush is another brand new release that launched with the new Perricone MD No Makeup Skincare Collection for Summer 2014. It also happens to gain a Muse Approval right out of the box. I just had to swatch it to know I’d love it!

This one is a Summer must have (oh hell, it’s an all season must have).

Perricone MD No Blush Blush2

Perricone MD No Blush Blush is a blush and cheek serum all in one that provides protection in the form of an SPF 30 along with a formula that supposedly adds lift and volume to cheek bones. It formulated like a serum which includes anti-aging ingridents that give skin a youthful, healthy glow!

This is a gorgeous warm, rosy shade that will different from skin tone to skin tone. On me I feel it’s more of a warmer peach but it really will depend on your undertones how the shade will reflect back. The color is so natural and has a seamless finish which doesn’t cling to drier areas nor will it accentuate pores. This is the type of formula that I wish Benefit would perfect in some of their great Lip and Cheek Stains.

Perricone MD No Blush Blush

The texture reminds me of a very thick serum. It dries down to a very soft, even finish without being overly hydrating nor is it matte or dry. It really does give the illusion of a sculpted cheek bone! It wears for a solid 12 hours in warmer weather without fading. I was amazed at hour 12 when looking in the mirror that it looked as fresh as when I applied it in the early morning!

I expressed some concern in my prior post about this product as it comes housed in a tiny jar without a pump or applicator. But no worries, twist off the cap and you’ll find a sponge tip applicator which you can use to dot onto your cheeks and just blend out with your finger tips.

Overall, you get the benefit of an anti-aging formula here sure but Perricone MD No Blush Blush just wears like a boss (12 hours!) plus it gives me such a beautiful radiant flush of color!

Loves it!

I’d pick it up if I were you and pair it up with Perricone MD No Lipstick Lipstick while you’re at it icon smile

YAY! I can’t believe this one has 12-hour wear… For a liquid blush, that’s pretty stunning! I’m not so sure about this shade (I can’t typically pull off anything with neutral or warm undertones), but will definitely give this one a swatch in-store.

    Plus: the applicator! \o/ :P

Hi Rae. Muse is right, you should at least swatch it. I’m very fair with cool to neutral undertones and this is a light, cool pink on me. I was so surprised when I saw Muse’s swatches that I rechecked my bottle to make sure I had the right product. The difference is startling. I can’t explain it; I guess the formulation must allow one’s undertones to show through. But on me it is definitely a light, cool pink.

Oh how funny! I just picked this up the other day and have used it twice so far. It shows up as a light peachy coral on me–almost a sherbet color. It’s definitely not what I was expecting because I flush a light rosy shade and thought this might mimic it. I think it’s fresh and fun, but it’s certainly not a natural look. I kind of like it; my husband does not. LOL! On my mom, it leans peachy pink.

YAY! so exciting! It looks so pretty on you and the minimal look you have going on in this pic to show it off is fabulous, i love it and your cheeks. totally gives a lifted look and I must say you’re lashes are looking hella awesome as well (what mascara are you rocking?!?!?!) and 12 hour wear?!, that’s amazing- this is seriously the last blush anyone would ever need!! and you’re right it looks more peachy on you, I saw a swatch on sephora post and it was pink on her hand. Can;t wait to play with it and see how it will cast on me Will you be reviewing the bronzer as well?

aw thanks lacy!!!!!!!!!!!! :-D That’d be Tarte Lights Camera Lashes but WAIT until you see them with the No Mascara Mascara it is awesome! def a pick up :-D I don’t have the bronzer unfortunately not sure if I will pick it up as I’m not much of a bronzer girl ;-D I think the shade def morphs from tone to tone so it could be pinker on another skin tone :-D hope you try it!

Oooh you’re totally enticing me to order it before I even see a review. If there’s 1 beauty product I can’t live without and am addicted to buying and trying all and anything new or intriguing it’s mascara…….. Can’t wait!

And I might even need to pick up tarte’s light camera lashes… I tried their lights camera flashes and really liked it but the formula consistency was a bit awkward, after a couple weeks in my makeup case it all shifted in the tube so much I ended up pulling like half the product out! It was so weird. So I had to keep it standing up otherwise it’d be way to much mascara on the wand

GORG color on you Muse! I must own it! Although I am worried it might be too sheer on my olive skin? Sigh. I sure hope not, it looks so lovely on you I can only hope it looks as good on me!

    Dear Isabella,

Based on your review, I went over to Nordie’s yesterday to give this a test drive. Alas, the counter lady at Perricone told me that this blush would not be available at Nordstrom, either on-line or in-store, until September!

Is it available right now at Perricone’s website or anywhere else?

It seems like the perfect summer blush!

So I went to Sephora and played with this in store… it’s peachy on me too :( Waahhh I wanted it to be pink. Oh well, so this will be a skip for me. I don’t like myself in peach tones, I look better in cooler colors. The bronzer was lovely though. And I was able to check out the mascara… I didn’t use it since they don’t have the same exact wand to test it with but it was very interesting. Great pigmentation but the brush was slightly bewildering in that the bristle were super short and nubby and not what I expected after seeing the photo on sephora.com.. Can’t wait for your review! Very excited. The associate at Sephora said the rep wore it there and their lashes were amazing….
