Yves Rocher Summer 2014 Gloss Swatches (Bright Pink and Copper Sun)
I recently tried out Yves Rocher Summer 2014 Gloss in Bright Pink and Copper Sun and fell in love. These little glosses pack a might bunch for their little price tag!
Each gloss features an hourglass sponge applicator that saturates well with color and a subtle lemon-y flavor and fragrance. They wear for about two to three hours and have a shiny finish with a hydrating balm-y texture. At first application I wasn’t sure I liked them bit after wearing them several hours and started to really dig the texture. They have a softer, balm-like consistency that’s thick and creamy but not tacky or sticky. They are quite unique for a gloss formula as they aren’t as thin as a standard gloss but still have a very comfortable wear for a thicker gloss. The texture is quite hydrating on my drier lips and both shades pack a very nice pigment (if nothing at all please grab yourself back ups of Copper Sun as it is a delightful golden beige that’s quite gorgeous for Summer looks!). I was surprised they were so shiny as typically thicker formulas are considerably less glossy and shiny for me but these pack the shine on as well as the color!
