Rimmel Naughty Navy ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Stick Review & Swatches

Rimmel Naughty Navy ScandalEyes Ey

Rimmel Naughty Navy ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Stick is one of four ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Sticks that launched with the Rimmel Rockin Around ScandalEyes for Holiday 2014! Naughty Navy is actually a shade I originally thought was black when I saw the Holiday display but my reader/friend Christina said, “Hey, it’s not black it’s blue!” so I quickly went back to grab it up.

Naughty Navy is actually permanent though! There are two limited edition shades in this collection which I’ve already featured reviews and swatches for but if you own a lot of Rimmel ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Sticks already just check your stash and be sure you don’t already have this shade prior to a pick up as it’s simply repromoted.

I didn’t have it so I went ahead and indulged!

Rimmel Naughty Navy ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Stick isn’t a shade I’d typically navigate to. This is a matte, creamy navy blue that’s quite dark. I dislike darker shades on my drier, finely lined eyes and I tend to avoid them because they accentuate my problem areas. However, I love pairing up blue with gold and I just happen to have purchased the Rimmel Gold Digger ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Stick and Naughty Navy went perfect with it! I used it below on the outer corner of my eye with Gold Digger all over the lid. It’s a really nice dark navy and I always feel like navy goes great with gold so there you have it.

This formula is divine. It’s creamy, easy to apply, and it doesn’t set super quickly so I have plenty of time to play around with it and get blended just the way I want before it dries down. It wears quite strongly on my drier eyes without fading or creasing! I love quick swipe and blend products and I think the ScandalEyes formula def has that down right.

If you’re a cream shadow formula I’m positive you’ll love this formula. And for those new to the formula this repromote is a great way to catch your attention at the drugstore as you might not have tried the sticks before!

I located the Rimmel ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Sticks in both the limited edition and repromoted Naughty Navy shade at my local Harmons.

I purchased this item.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Awww…thanks for the mention! Glad to relay some useful information.

I find navy blue is a user friendly shade for me, especially as a liner since black can be a bit harsh. Rimmel really should consider making this one and the taupe permanent.

you were SUCH a help yesterday 😀 I agree on the taupe being perm! totally grab backups! and I don’t even like taupe but it’s a really workable/wearable color!

P.S. Are you sure, Muse, that it’s a repromote? I thought I had all the Rimmel shadow sticks and although there is a bright blue and a turquoise blue that are permanent, this navy one either escaped my notice (not an easy feat) or is LE.

I love the color too – I agree that black can sometimes look harsh, so this is a great choice.

Can you use this as a liner or is it too smudgy? I am dying for a liner like this. The Bobbi Brown is way too dry for me and they refuse to bring back the L.E. Maybelline shades.

With my monolids, I can get away with lining my eyes in a thick cat eye with something as thick as a NYX jumbo eye pencil. The problem is those don’t set. 🙁
